Hi, I wanted to ask a weird question. I have always wanted to buy these snow cones and slushy makers for a while but was wondering, are all the syrups the same? Meaning, can I use the same syrup to make a slushy drink or snow cone? Or are there specific syrups for slushy drinks and specific syrups for snow cones? There was also an icee mini machine that had its own flavors refills. Can I use any syrup for the icee machine? Does it matter if its not really from the icee refills? Oh and lastly, can I make drinks with the syrups with regular water? I hope you guys know what I mean Thanks

No, I don't think that it is worthy to buy it. We can get it any time. But we can't eat it every day.

I don't think it would make much of a difference. I've made slushies in my high powered blender using a strong KoolAid mix. I put about a third as much water as it calls for.

Hello :D. I believe the snow cone's syrup is more dense than the syrup for slushy, at least the commercial ones. Since you mostly drink the slushy you can make it with any liquid, however since the point of the snow cone is to chew on the ice from the top without turning it over, the liquid has to hold better to it instead of filtering all the way to the bottom. This is also true for icee, but the way that is done is to use the liquid with flavor to make the shaved ice, instead of pouring it over shaved ice like in a snow cone, which is why their colors are so consistent and also why common icee machines turn the juice around (so that they don't stick and end up being an ice cube). About the machine, I don't know since I haven't seen it, but if what it does is shave iced juice then any liquid would work. About the drinks with the syrups, depending on what you use it could end being really tasteless since it would get too diluted (like adding water to juice), but there are some that are super sweet (meant to be diluted). I recommend that you try a little before using all the syrup in one go and check if its drinkable, if you like how it tastes, then make it happily :D.

I am sure if you go on-line and research these questions, You will find the correct answers. Maybe research the actual recipes for these syrups. Good Luck:-)
