Today I was invited to a health club. Curious whether i'm healthy or not, i came. They measured my height and my weight. They have this digital weighing scale that computes not only how much you weigh but also your body fat, water content, etc. I didn't understand the other things. Then they have this chart explaining everything.
So it says i'm 5'4" tall, weighs 118.4 lbs, water content is good, body fat is excellent and metabolic age is that of a 23 year old woman! And they said to me, "You're perfect!"
Now for the past couple of weeks i've been lazy, no exercise, no outdoor activities, stayed in bed all day and been eating junk! But whoah..i'm perfect?
This morning I started to exercise again, leg work and push ups. I guess i'll be maintaining this weight and eat more healthy food!
Let's live healthy mylotters!

I used to be very skinny until my cousin who's a doctor told me that i should have a definite schedule for eating and i need to sleep at least 8 hours a day. I followed him, i ate 5 meals a day and i gained 1kg in just one week.
My metabolism is quite fast and it's too difficult for me to gain weight actually but with his advice i noticed that my appetite increased.

If you want to gain weight you should eat more than just your regular meal and eat your meal at the same time every single day. And sleep a lot.

That is so great
It is better to have an exercise in the morning to make us become healthy. We should also choose to eat healthy food. That is why I drink too much tea because I always ate unhealthy food and lack of exercises, he he

It's called luck!
Sometimes other people try too hard and don't get the result they wanted. Maybe they should stop doing that and just focus more on how to be happy with what you have.

Hello toniganzon
I have this same problem. People think that the being perfect is great, but it really gets in the way of so many plans, like the health club membership. Being of Scottish extraction, I cannot justify spending money for a health club when I have no need for this due to my perfection. I suppose that I am fortunate that my lifestyle makes this possible but sometimes perfection has its price! *sigh*

how nice for you toniganzon! everyone wants to be perfect in every way, do they not? actually mary poppins claimed to be "practically perfect in every way", but i always had my doubts.

I am a healthy weight for my height at the moment, but that doesn't mean that I don't want to lose a little more weight anyway. The thing is, weight only tells half of every story, and there can be people who are right at the lower end of the healthy weight and they can still be unhealthy inside if they eat rubbish foods and don't do any exercise or things like that. I had a friend who had heart problems because of her inactivity, yet she had the most amazing figure I have ever seen, so you can't always use your weight to work out how healthy you are.

Hello Toni, maybe they didn't know what you have been eating or you simply didn't tell them
but maybe because of your figure. anyways, how am i supposed to know, but what i think is that if you have gain weight, i don't think they will know otherwise. they always tell you're not healthy wen you're fat

Well the digital scale does more than weigh your body, it shows other things and there's a computation. There's also a chart that shows your metabolic age according to the computation of body fat and all.

I don't really think i'm healthy Rick. I may have the perfect weight but i know it's not the only basis of being healthy. I'm just glad i'm not underweight or overweight. A number of people are overweight and it's really not a healthy thing. Just hope i would be able to help them.

"You're perfect"is the most beautiful word.I recently troubled in put on weight and become unhealthy, because of my work,i do not have too much time for exercise,my diet is not so reasonable and healthy,so if someone told me that"You're perfect",i think i am most happy,i'll be strenging for my health,Everyone must pay attention to healthy living!
