If someone you know is going to get married, what would you send him as a gift? what if you can be present? You knew each other when you were children.

I used to give things that are really useful and will last a bit long like electric fan, rice cooker or toaster will do and okay. Nice gift that can add to their starting family.

Well, there is the store registry alot of young women participate in now days but I personally like to get a personal gift. SOmething I chose myself. Like one of those new picture frames that shows several different pictures. Or I would get them a set of fancy champagne glasses to toast their new life together.

I would try to find out if the bride has done a bridal registery at any store; if so, I would either purchase a gift on her list or give her a gift card for that particular store so she could pick out whatever she wants later. If the bride is not registered anywhere, I would most likely give her a prepaid debit card or cash. Sometimes if you know the bride well, you may know of something she has wanted for a long time that most likely will not be given to her as a wedding gift. If this is the case, you could make the bride's dream come true by giving her the desires of her heart. No matter what you decide to give your friend, be sure to give her a nice wedding card with a nice personal note included.
