I just got a email from Paypal and they concluded the investigation. I got the refund of the ebay order of the bras. Im so happy, and I think I may not even bother buying items off eBay. It was such a hassle with this order and trying to get my money back from a damage and horrible seller.

What do you mean the refund of one? Did you only get refunded for one of the bras? I don't want to have the trouble you had had with ebay but I do plan on purchasing more from them in the future.

Ricki had two open claims with PayPal. PayPal decided in her favor for the bra claim, but the other one is still pending. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2665263.aspx

Yes, Frugal has it right. The seller was giving me a hard time. I emailed them about the damage item and they wanted me to pay $20 shipping it back, then the refund (which judding by it they wouldnt give it). I sent in a claim, and got the refund today from Paypal after they investigated it. I am still waiting on the other one from a different situation. Ive had some really good sellers, and this one just spoiled it all.

Thank You Frugal, I should have remembered that as I read and even replied to that discussion before I believe.
I'm glad the investigation was semi swift. The only time I used ebay I sent the payment but the person they had put the email wrong and so I had to ask for a refund and send payment right away, it was a tight week.

Oh, good! I'm glad they decided in your favor on that claim. Wasn't that the one where the seller was trying to get you to drop the dispute because it would make them look bad?
I've dealt with a lot of good sellers on Ebay, but the occasional bad apples really do spoil it.

Saying things like that to a buyer in a dispute sure can't have helped their case any!

hey, good for you. now, don't you feel like you want to warn all the other people that are buying from this person? i sure did when i got ripped off when i bought that ring. i don't think that ebay had all the stuff in place when i bought that ring as they do now. i bought it, payed for it and didn't receive it nor did i get any help from ebay at that point.

Yes, I do and I feel bad for those who buy from the person and who never got their money back. I started scrolling through the feedback and many had issues. They said they didnt get a refund and a waste of money. But I didnt go through eBay I ended up going through Paypal. Since I paid with Paypal its covered and they have it through there. I hope you didnt loose too much money from it. I would be fuming if that happened to me and I spent a lot of money. My Dad bought an atique truck to redo off eBay and never had an issue before. I enver had an issue until this seller and it makes me wonder how many else are out there.

Most EBay sellers are honest and the auctions are legit. If they weren't how could EBay stay in business.
There are a number of things I would not buy there though. For one, clothes, but then I don't buy mail order clothes because I want to see them and try them on. But I have purchased coins, camera, equipment, and even a printer through EBay. I know of one person who even bought a car through EBay, though I'm not sure I would do that.

Ive been using eBay for many years and never had an issue. Except this one seller and I think I may just stop using eBay. I have boughten so many neat cat toys off eBay but Ive always dealt with companies for that. This individual sent me 3 bras I ordered (as Canada doesnt sell my size - nice eh), and they came clearly not my size, and the tags inside missing. I emailed them, and they expected me to ship the items back $20.00 out of my pocket, then they would refund the money. Most would just ignore it and say waste of money. But it was $30.00 for the 3 bras so I put a claim in, and they sent a message being rude, and I passed it onto Paypal. I may just stick with companies from now on.
