Afraid of losing hair

After I gave birth, I already noticed that I am having a hair fall. Everytime I comb my hair, I could see hairs falling down and some are still on my comb. I got paranoid and even think I am sick, that I am having a disease that could no longer be cured, and this is one of the sympthoms. Though I am afraid to go to the doctor and have a check-up, thus, I am afraid what will the doctor gonna say. I've started using shampoos that are anti hair fall and probably used almost all the brands with this anti hairfall effect. And I believe it was effective. Then I met a friend who has the same story as mine, though I could see signs of baldness since some part of her head has no longer hair. And can you imagine, I even told her to see a doctor (haha, as if I also did see a doctor when that falling hair thing happens to me.) Though I could sense she is also afraid as I am before. Another friend of mine told her to use the new anti hairfall shampoo being advertise in the television. At present, she is using it and I could see improvement. Thinking those times makes me smile but still I am really afraid of losing hair? How about you? Are you afraid losing your hair? Do you have stories same as mine? I do hope to hear from you. Happy mylotting!

I found that I lost hairs last month , but it's getting better now . Maybe your hairs fell just because you were too tired after you gave birth to a baby . Just be relaxed and forget it ! Try some kinds of shampoos that can help you cure your hair .

For a woman, it is typical during pregnancy for their hair to become thicker than usual because of hormonal changes that the body goes through. Thus, once the baby is born, it is also typical to have some degree of hair loss as the hormones in the woman's body revert to the normal levels of a woman that is not pregnant. Thus, I don't think that your hair loss is anything that you should be worried about at all. Unless you seem to be experiencing extreme hair loss and you have some baldness developing, there is nothing that a doctor would be able to do for you.

When you are pregnant your body is going through some hormonal problems. One of the most typical reasons for hair loss is hormonal. Also stress and vitamin deficency. I would just eat good for a period and see if this doesn't back off. And remember that a normal hair loss per day is about 250 strands.

I believe so. One reason of having a falling hair is due to stress, thus I am trying to lessen down all my work stresses and I could see a positive result. I could now see lesser hair fall. I am hoping I could lesser much more on all the stresses that I have. Thanks much for the information. I can't imagine losing 250 strands of hair per day. That's a lot! Anyway. have a great day!

It is just normal that after giving birth you will have more falling hairs. This is because of the hormonal changes that your body is undergoing. When you became pregnant your hormones had a drastic change so eventually it will go back to normal after giving birth. And that another change (back to normal) will cause some effect like falling hair and mood swings (postpartrum). Don't worry it will be back to normal after sometime.

Hello fellow lotter, I also had this problem recently. My baby is now 10 months old and for the first 7 months after giving birth I lost a lot of hair. It got so bad that I had a bald spot. Everyone is correct that it is probably due to the horomonal changes you face during and after birh. I went to my doctor and he prescribed iron pills and it has helped. I have hair growing back now and although it is frightening it is necessary to visit your doctor if it continues.I hope this helps.

This is very common after giving birth. After giving birth your hormones are in big demand and changing in short time frame. Within a few months it should ween down, and stop completely. If it doesnt I would go to your doctor and get some blood work done as the hormones, and such havent gone back to normal. My hai falls out but for a completely different reason. Mine falls out because of low iron and b12 levels also having ulcerative colitis.
