Half the employees off.

When I was still employed that happened too. But it made me crazy because it would mean i have to adjust work time again and do most of the work because of other people's absence.

Never had a chance here where in half of us are on leave but for sure my boos will really get mad if that will happen.Some of work and production will be paralyzed somehow if that situation happen here.

Sounds like either everyone is plagued with an illness or it's an old fashioned negotiation tatic of "sick out". That's no good that things have to shut down because of the lack of employees.

Oh what a coincidence that most of them will be absent that day. Whenever that happens in an office, the boss are the ones who can feel the difficulty because they are used to be just telling the employees to do this and that. Now, they have to do them themselves.

Hi tkonlinevin! I hope the employees would be able to get back to work soon. If not I would suggest, perhaps you hire somebody to take over temporarily for a while so that the production will continue and to prevent any further loss on the company.

No... never had that happen, at least to that extent. Maybe there is some kind of virus going around? That's always my first thought. I hope it isn't the beginning of some employee rebellion!

Did they leave for good or did they take the day off only? Our office will go through days when workers just don't show which reflects in the quality we hire since we start to earn less.

Oh my, that was such when half of the employee is on leave. It really makes the boss go crazy, it happens to us, though we are only about 4-5 employee in the office including the boss. When all the production department is on leave, no one will do the project, my boss was frustrated and angry, it's just the two of us in the office and I hate that cause he will make me do all the work except CAD drawing. There are employee who is professional and don't absent that much and there are employees who loves to leave even in petty reason.

Your company should provide vitamins and healthy foods for employees to prevent them from leaving work due to sickness.
