Hi everyone.. I dont know whether it is rumor or real truth but i really need experts comments in this issue. It is well spread here that one specie of spider (black in color) is attacking human. They are poisonous and if they bite human then s/he is in danger. So, people are rush to kill them whenever they see black spider ignoring do they bite or not? hundreds of spider are already dead due to this issue. But why? who are you to kill them? Media, they are broadcasting this news like that black spider is dangerous and should kill. Government is still silent, no comment. So why? i really surprise, without any lab experimentation or field study who are we to kill them? At first it should be proved that they are venomous like snake. Well, we dont dare to kill a venomous snake but we can kill a spider thinking as it is venomous because it is small and we can easily kill them. What the hell is going? After all, all living creatures have their own lives and way of living and we should respect it. Here is a link and the first news you should read to understand the reality. Hi mamu So what do you want? Let those spider's kill me? Self Defense is legal and even murdering someone in case you had to do it when you were doing it for self defense. It is also the law of nature. So there is nothing on this segment to be discussed. For the media that is spreading this, why not? They are doing it for "their" publicity and NOT for the welfare of spiders. After all, Spiders dont invest in these media houses... do they?

Nope, never. Most venomous snake like king cobra also is not killed at sight here, if it is found in urban area. In rural area, still there are some persons who call experts to rescue the snake. I would not offer myself rather i will try to cage him in a container and provide it to experts to check how much it is venomous? take care.

Wait, snakes are killed at sight too. And Government too takes steps to kill the insane elephant. It is nothing about the "size", it is about self survival. And dont tell me, if you see that spider you are going to offer yourself to that spider, defend it from other people and die for that spider!

I don't think it is a big crime to kill those animals which are going to harm us for sure. Yes of course it has right to live. But we humans who hat superiority in our mind and brain controls the other organisms under him. We have to safeguard ourselves from such animals. I would say it is crime to kill any organism for luxury and not a crime to kill those to protect ourselves. By the way people are not going to spare snakes too irrespective they are venomous or harmless.

I do the same viji. When the long legged spider makes their net to trap insects, it become the home so dirty and we should evacuate them as well.

Creating rumors is bad. But you know well, that while cleaning our house we would dust the spiders and other insects and even kill them. They are just giving trouble to us than killing us. But we are in the need of evacuating them from our home.

I read the article and I didn´t get much of it. It seems that scientifics need time to decide how poisonous the spiders are and that the hospital is ill equiped to meet such a problem. I think that they all must hurry to learn as much as they can about the spider and why is it so agresive. The spider cannot have materialised from nowhere, but sometimes bugs populations grow too much with environmental changes. If I saw one at my house, I´d kill it. We have in my city a poisonous spider, the brown recluse. If I see one, I kill it before asking. On the other hand, I treat very well a garden spider that feeds on the brown recluse´s eggs.

If a poisonous spider was at my house, I guess I would not wait for it to attack me to kill it. I don`t kill the ants that live in mygarden, but I kill anyone I see in my house. And they are not poisonous.

Hi marguicha... The spider is aggressive. I am not so much sure to say that. One of my colleague has said days ago that one same spider were resting on his bathroom. He stayed for todays but never invaded anyone of his family member. The reporter who has written it, i dont think that he faced that spider to bring out the fact. have a nice time.

hello bro, see its human nature. they don't to stay in proximity with anything that can impose a danger on their lives. that is why they stay away from the wild life as they know it could be dangerous and they may risk their lives. people are doing so just to ensure their security. though it is not proven that those spiders are actually venomous but they can not wait for the results and let those spiders bite them. it is not justified but what to do? humans are humans.

Hi sis, Nice to meet you in mylot after months. I understand that. The media and government should proceed to prove that this specie is not venomous and if it is, then they should provide some way so that no spider has to die. Here, people are killing black spiders without knowing which is venomous. Thus all black spiders will be no more. Have a nice time.

First I thought that of course I wouldn't kill spiders, just use common sense and learn which one is poisonous and which one is not. But since these are dangerous tarantulas that actually attack, the panic they cause is not a surprise. I think for self defense you might need to kill them, but it's crazy if people hear the news about the town invaded by tarantulas, and then they start killing all the spiders everywhere.

Hi almond. Those persons who have killed did not use the sense and kill and still killing all those spiders without any information. Self defense is fine but as you have assumed people are killing all black spiders without considering either it venomous or not? have a nice time.

I read the article. That is quite perplexing how the spider's just appeared one night. There definitely has to be a reason, they had to come from somewhere, someone. I don't agree with killing all spiders. it makes more sense to determine what is causing the spiders to take the offensive. It could be something environmental. I do understand the fear and panic, but I hope the investigators can provide some information to calm the people and return the village to a safe place again.

I believe that spiders, or any other bugs that have entered my home are fair game to kill!! I don't want them in my house... :( But in Wisconsin you don't hear a lot of stories about venomous spiders. Mainly we have daddy long legged spiders

Hi Lauraleigh... I have heard about venomous spiders and it is better to save ourselves from them. But here the issue is different, they are killed without finding it that they are venomous. It is so sad, right? Have a nice time.

I do not think that the main issue here is whether or not the spider is venomous, although that is definitely one factor. I think that the main issue is that the spider is highly aggressive and it is infesting the area. If you are allergic to the spider, then it does not matter whether or not it is venomous, because you can die from it anyway, and the chances of you getting bitten by a highly aggressive spider is great, especially if there are a large number of these spiders in the area.

Hi purple... Well, it is well spreading here that this spider is now everywhere in my province. I dont know even no one has studied from where it has come? they are rather trying to kill it regardless they are allergic or not? or the spider is venomous or not? People even killing all black spiders. Have a nice time.

I definitely think that it would be good to find out where the spider came from and how it started infesting your area. I also agree that it would be good to know whether or not the spider is venomous, especially since it is aggressive and they will need anti-venom if it is venomous. As to whether or not a person is allergic to a spider bite, it can only take one bite, especially with a large spider or one that injects a large amount of its secretion into the bite, and a person who is allergic can die. I do not think that it is good to kill all spiders just because one might be poisonous. On the other hand, I know that my little one is allergic to spiders, so all the ones that I find inside my house I will kill regardless of whether or not they are poisonous. I will also kill any outdoors that I know are poisonous, but I do not kill all spiders outdoors. Similarly, if I know that a certain kind of spider is highly aggressive, then I will try to keep my family and myself as far away from it as possible without harming the spider unless it is necessary.

Exactly. Without gathering the perfect information it is worthless to kill and clean all black spiders. That is good and fair not to kill spiders living outdoors where as they are doing nothing evil to you. have a nice time.
