It is getting harder and harder to find good writing sites,
Knoji, is garbage,
examiner has stopped paying the dollar bonus for local articles,
and Yahoo voices is refusing just about every article for upfront payments so I have been told.
it is just getting harder and harder,
anybody using any good writing sites.
P.S. Mylot is not a writing site

Same here, I am also having a hard time finding a good writing sites that I can really use to earn some decent amount of money. I used to have some direct clients but they all stop outsourcing articles and jobs because of financial issue. And some writing sites that I had joined before has less article request and most of the requesters are rejecting articles which is really irritating.

I figure in a couple of years we will not be able to do this kind of work anymore

true, mylot is not. i used to seriously write back in the day when the internet was new and not everyone fancied themselves a writer and i got upwards of $10 for 500 words. now they only offer you a dollar or even less. its just not worth the time or effort unless you are writing serious journalism that is for serious money. (i have a friend who writes for the printed world and still makes a good chunk of cash) but other than that, not really.

I am on Knoji and have found that the amount of articles I have on there makes me as much monthly as it used to when I worked my tail off writing them all month. So I am looking for other things too. It has gotten pretty pathetic out there. What happened to the Examiner you used to write for?

Mike Quoc is only interested in coupons and reviews on knoji, he is not paying that much for articles anymore, the bottom fell out of knoji.
Examiner stopped the dollar bonus for local articles and now you only make page views, and not worth my effort.

Im not much of a writer myself, but I tried getting into it. I have yet to find a decent site to use. Sorry, I cant help you with this anymore. I do hope someone gets you some information. I normally only use MyLot, a few other money making sites, and a few other sites for gift cards.

no mylot is like facebook not a writing site you just as you say communicated with people from all over the world.
I am talking about actually writer articles, like when you go on the Internet to read about your favorite topic, it is a big article, that is what I do, I write those big long articles.

Yahoo voices was better when it was Associated Content. They weren't nearly so picky. I can remember writing about 60 articles a month and making a couple hundred a month it more. Now they are hard to please. They just want it for nothing and you get page views. I don't know if any sites. K had a good thing for awhile last summer, as you know...but he ruined it for everyone.

I got my last payment from T today, she paid me 100.00 so that was good. I needed it to pay my cable/Internet. Now that is over. She is officially out of the business. I think it really is for good this time. She cannot find clients that want to pay for their articles either.

Hello winterose
It is unfortunate that the good writing sites are drying up.
Have you ever considered writing an ebook and making it available for readers to purchase? I don't know much about this, but it seems like it could be an option.
I hope that you find something.
Peace.

I have written two books, they are not easy to sell you spend your life trying to marketing them. I found I make more money just doing articles like I am doing.
