Do you feel like the work you are doing online can be compared to slave labor?

I was watching one of the tv judge programs yesterday. The judge made a comment that the people who get in trouble and go to jail basically are volunteering for slave labor. Since they will only be making cents/hr. Do you feel like the earnings you are getting online could be compared to that?

It always depend upon the work you are doing and the site you are working with. Yes, it may be said that online earning is definitely a very tough job but you cannot compare it with a slave. You can take it as to fill up gap for the spare time and enjoy doing it. If, you are solely depended on online work it may be somewhat burden on you.

No, I don't find it the same at all. We are on here because we "want" to be. In slavery there is no choice. When a person goes to jail they may have chose to commit the crime that landed them there but there is no choice in doing the work for little to no pay. Also the work is physical.

Depends on the type of work that I am doing whether it would be considered to be slave labor. Of course, not many real world jobs are much better, especially with the rising price of everything, but their wages. Plus people lose all sense of their self and become just soulless, mindless zombies, chasing a paycheck that can barely pay their bills.
At least sixty percent of all work in this day and age could be considered to be little better than slave labor. With the inflation and outrageous prices on a lot of things, unless you are in the top of the end of the salary bracket, chances are you are just working to live and living to work to begin with. That is the true slave labor. In five years, it be the only difference between both ends, is that one answers to a boss and the other person answers to himself.
