I was sitting here thinking, companies lie to us just to buy their products and them make money.
Do we really know whats in the products? I was watching W5 and they had this on.
Companies will only put the most important or the ones that Canada deems necessary to file.
I always have reactions to products, and simple dont use them. I mean heavy harsh cleaners, but also even regular shampoo, soaps, and so on. I try to avoid using them period as I break out in rashes. But what are we doing to ourselves and ingesting.

Hi Ricki,, that don't only happen in Canada, its just as bad
here in the USA..
You are so wise to be vigilant about what and how we spend our
monies.
They had something in the news a couple of months ago about
something call "pink slime" in ground beef...."WHAT"...it
was in the news big time and they said it was in the food
for years.

I think it's criminal that manufacturer's don't have to list everything that's in their products.
For cleaners I would recommend vinegar, borax and baking soda. Between them, you can clean just about anything!
What really bothers me is that companies don't have to list if a food has been genetically modified. Since GMO foods have been proven harmful, I think the public has the right to know if their food has been messed with.
There are however some brands (esp. Meijer) that tell you when they use non-GMO ingredients. I find that to be helpful. :)
