Breakfast meal

Mornings are best welcomed with a smile and good food. I am not a morning person that's why I take my breakfast really late. But there are also times where I get to eat breakfast on time. Usually, I eat bread with whatever is available (egg or spread, or anything similar to that) with juice or water. Some say that I'm only taking a light breakfast but if they'll only see the amount of food I eat, they'll say it's heavy breakfast. Hehe! Would you rather have heavy or light breakfast? Because some people like to have light breakfast because they're not used to having heavy food in the morning. Some take heavy breakfast because they have a lot of work load everyday. Sometimes, I also get the chance of eating breakfast at food chains like McDonald's. These are just very rare times. They have good set of food choices and it's just enough to fill my hungry appetite. =) If I wake up late, I end up eating brunch instead.=D

hi chan2zexy! i am not a morning person either and would rather not eat anything in the morning, in fact just had coffee or diet cokes for years and years....but now the psychoartist has grown old and is no longer in the flower of her youth and has to take medications and vitamins everymorning and i have to eat some small something with them or i become stomach sick! i prefer a poptart, or croissant or cinnamon roll...(the sugar is very important, you see....sugar and caffiene are my two favorite food groups.) i do like traditional breakfast foods however, and sometimes may cook/eat them at the evening meal! i do like mcdonald's breakfasts too, in fact they are my favorite mcdonalds foods now and i wish they offered them all day long rather than just in the morning! bon appetit chan2zexy!

Hello chan2zexy Like you, I am not a morning person. I am a night owl, and like to stay up late. I have never been a breakfast person either, probably because I am not a morning person. I do not wake up hungry. I take a late breakfast as well. It's called lunch. Or dinner. On the few occasions when I do eat the breakfast, I am hungrier all day. I do not like this, since I try to eat only once in the day.

So eating breakfast for you gives you a different effect. Instead of being full, you end up hungry the entire day. That's something new to me but it's always a case to case basis. =) But you only eat once a day and you don't get hungry the entire day and you're okay with just one meal? If I am to do that, I will en up with no energy.

Yes, I usually eat around 2 or 3 in the afternoon. In fact, I just ate! I will eat a light snack later this evening, around 9 or 10. Last night I had the Rocky Road ice creams. Yum! And a Reeses' Peanut Butter Cup. And a tall, cool, glass of the orange juices!!

Sounds good Page. I think you had a good breakfast, I mean meal. But one meal a day isn't enough to get the nutrition we need I think. When you eat your meal do you usually load up or you just eat a little?

good day chan2zexy, same as you are, i am not also belong on the classification called "morning person". as there are times, i got up quite late due to not so good sleep. however, though i was not belong to that, i am always taking a breakfast. and also the same as you are doing, i am taking a brunch instead. a combination of breakfast and lunch. but, most often times, i am trying to wake up early, as i really want to enjoy having a good breakfast. aside from that, i want to feel the morning breeze while savoring the aroma of the coffee that matches the morning breakfast. bon appetite.

Good for you that you are able to take breakfast. I usually get up late that's why I don't eat breakfast on time. I eat it by lunch time. I wish I will be able to have breakfast on time again. I will be very delighted to have a sumptuous breakfast.

Oh this week i really tried my best to wake up early since i felt that i've been really very lazy. My human alarm clock tried to wake me up at 6 on Monday then told him to give me an hour more the following day and today i woke up at 8. Darn, not working! I eat breakfast an hour or two after i wake up. And McDonald's breakfast is one of my favorites too and that is if i have an early appointment and don't like eating at home.

The same goes with my body clock. Hehe! When I don't feel like getting up, I put some extension. But the 1 hour extension usually end up with 4 hours! Like today that I'm still up, I think I'll have my breakfast first before going to sleep.

for instance I always prefer light breakfast because I have to work in the morning and have no special time to breakfast.Usually I will have breakfast in the office, bring some bread from home and have a cup of tea. I will have my breakfast before 9 am

Sounds like a very good breakfast still. Most people don't have much time for breakfast because of the time to travel on the way to the office. Must be a good thing still because people like you get to have breakfast with officemates.

do you know one thing, for a healthy life, the doctors and other dietitians says that a heavy healthy nutritional breakfast is the better way to keep our body healthy. the scientific reason is after dinner we will go for sleep for 6-8 hours.( some have 10 hrs too)... so these times are FASTING (without food) time. so the inner digestive organs will get ready for absorb food after we wake up from sleep. So if you didnt eat proper food in the morning then if body will use FAT for the function. that not the healthy way. so to avoid this eat proper food in the morning and lunch and eat half stomach in the night

Thanks soorajsrs7srs. I would really love to have complete meals everyday but I usually sleep late and wake up late that's why I don't have the chance of eating on time. Maybe the reason why I don't gain weight at all, because of my sleeping habits. But that's another story. When it comes to meals, when I have the chance especially on vacation I really eat a lot because I avail the breakfast meals included with the hotel's package. And I need the energy to go for the day of touring the city I am at. But when I am at home and I sleep late and wake up late, I am unable to eat breakfast. I usually start with brunch then heavy snacks then dinner.

I think breakfast is one of the food we should eat regularly. I like to have dosa regularly. It is good to have heavy breakfast and to eat less at night and in the supper. I would suggest you to have regular breakfast and homemade breakfast if possible. I also like to have tea with my breakfast.

hi, when i woke up early in the morning i could prepare a such bountiful breakfast that surely will full me,but when i woke up late in the morning sometimes i cant eat for breakfast nor to prepare because i could be late in my work.but for me its still good to have a breakfast in the morning.

A heavy breakfast is better, as it sets your digestive system working harder on the rest of the food you eat that day. If you have a light breakfast, the digestive-system won't put your lunch & dinner to use so fast---turning it into fat and storing it away as reserve energy instead.

hi chan, I wish I could get in the habit of eating breakfast, either light or heavy...I am just not a morning person and have never had a desire for food early in the morning...and when I do eat in the morning its just about anything. I know I need to regulate my eating habits..I am a little over weight and I want to lose a few pounds.

I feel the same way. I don't have the appetite in the morning if ever I wake up early. I just try to eat anything that's prepared on the table whenever I need to take something. But I do eat a lot during lunch and dinner because I need to gain some weight. =)

As for me, I want a heavy breakfast meal. My mom usually cooked our breakfast. We have different combinations such as scrambled egg and salted fish with fried rice, or we have hard boiled egg and a noodles or we have a sunny combined with hotdog or corn beef or longganisa sometimes with bacon or ham. With this food that my mom usually cook, who could resist isn't it. So I really have a heavy breakfast no matter what. However, this past few days I refused to eat those breakfast meal infront of me. I am only eating cereals for almost a week now for dier purposes only. I do hope I could really dwell with this, eating / drinking cereals only. Well, goodluck to me. Have a happy breakfast meal!

I like to have a heavy breakfast! Usually for breakfast i'll have milk, rice, egg, sausage, hotdogs or any available viand on the table. I think it's healthy that you eat more on breakfast. On breakfast eat like a queen; lunch eat like a princess; dinner eat like a beggar.

I prefer light breakfast. I don't really have a lot of work load in a day and I don't use to eat a lot in the morning. Also, if I woke up late I end up eating my brunch like you do. Anyway, I think light or heavy breakfast depends on the appetite of the person. :)

Yeah I think it really depends on the person's appetite. Sometimes, even if I'm not hungry but I haven't eaten for hours, I still try to eat something, anything that's available on the table or on the refrigerator. Any leftover of the previous meal would do, as long as it's still good, and as long as it will satisfy my hunger. =)

It's not always about how much you eat, but what you eat. If you eat Low GI bread instead of regular bread, supposedly you can eat less but it will last you much longer. I can't really operate long on Mcdonald's breakfast muffins; in fact they may make me feel a little down. That doesn't mean that they're not delicious at the moment of eating :) I love the breakfast sausage mcmuffin egg thingy. Fresh, cruncy, DELICIOUS TASTING apples are also a good food for me, if I am on my way to be very active. I believe they say apples are good to maintain blood sugar levels.

breakfast is the most important meal for me. it doesn't matter whether it is heavy or light breakfast, i always make sure that i eat my breakfast to start my day or else i don't have the energy to do my daily routines.

I love to eat "pho", rice noodle with beef in here but since food prices are increased then i don't go out to eat more, including breakfast... This time, i often cook rice and food in the morning. And then i feed cats...and i have my breakfast too. I'd love bread with fried eggs sometime too..and for sure i never forget a cup of milk in the morning.

I am not a morning person too and I actually wake up really late that what I would eat is considered lunch already. LOL If ever I will wake up early, I would just have a glass of milk and some bread for breakfast. And I will eat a lot during lunch as it serves as my power meal for the day.

Hi there chan2zexy,like you,i usually taking a light breakfast in the moring,usually rice congee and bread,heeheh~~=)but my husband come back from work about 3 in the early morning every day,so he usually do not eat breakfast,he eat snacks when he back ,a lot of his friend said that's not a good idea,but there is no way,he came back so late,i hope there will not have anything wrong with his health~~``

I would rather have light breakfast than have a heavy breakfast. I can't eat too much in the morning,just like my stomach is't wake up or something. By the way,breakfast is important. I usually not ate breakfast several years ago. And I started to eat breakfast is because I got some stomach troubles,like stomachache. So I think, to eat breakfast in everyday morning is the essential to our healthy.

I used to have light breakfast. I can't eat too much in the morning just sort of roll out of bed. lol~ Maybe just because of my stomach doesn't wake up in the morning. And I did't usually eat breakfast several years ago. I started eat breakfast is because of do not eat breakfast constantly make me got some stomach troubles, I got stomachache. So now I eat breakfast very regular.
