Hi there, For sure you will agree with me that the main reason why we are sending to school is to change their future or become like us. To become successful, to have a good job and so on and on. My parents always telling me before to study hard in order to change my future, to have good job with the same system I copied same thought to my children.. How about you? What system or ways why your children sending to school. Are you heard about Chinese system toward their children? Their system are differ from other countries because their motivation toward children is like this: "Son/Daughter study hard so that you will become a good businessman or women, you will become a president of the business" How about you? Share with us might be our guide.

Hello my friend visavis Ji, Well, as a grand parents today having treasures of experiences in our life, I think, I send my children for development of their minds/body/soul, so that they could be useful to coming human generations wherever they worked. I never thought that my children will earn lot of money for them and do support me during my old age. Our creator has done such a wonderful creation, that we are not utilising even 25% of our resources provided by oiur creator. All great people, who utilised but their life span was reduced. Let's teach and send to school so that they become good citizens of the world. May God bless You and have a great

Hello my friend visavis Ji, "GOODS & BADS" have been part and parcel of Nature, like Day & Night, God & Devil (Sur & Asur), like black and white. I would try and explain you by one small incident passed on by my grand father " A sage while taking bath in river Ganges, wanted to save a floating scorpian, tried many times to remove, but every time was beaten by scorpian, was advised by many taht scorpian should be left by Sage. But Sage told everyone, that is job by Almighty and my job is to save its life from river". By this, we should not stop sending children to school to make them world citiozens. have faith. Every day is not Sundays. A time will come and people will leaRN TO BE TRUE. Only one must have patience. May God bless You and have a great

Being good citizen of this world we cannot scale from their level in school... right or wrong what is your view about this

I don't have any children of my own, but my grandmother always told me that if she hadn't gone on to college, she could never have supported her three children and herself when her husband turned abusive and useless. She's passed that on to me as well. My belief is that if you don't get some kind of education, whether it's just high school, life, college, career, or technological, you won't be able to succeed. it all starts with doing well and having the motivation to do well while you're young.

Yeah your right and good advice from your oldest.. But not all un-educated man failed to their future because some of the famous and richest man are being succeed in their life. What is the relation to education which always our parents are telling. Is there any relation to our destiny of being succees in life? What do you think..?

And there's the other side of the coin :) I don't think being uneducated causes you to be unsuccessful by any means, either. Success is also tied into motivation, opportunities, money, and determination. Any number of things could change how well you do, and education is only a part of it. Some of the smartest people I know didn't go to college, or know the things they know simply because they've lived them, or chose to educate themselves on their own time, outside of the institution.

I made a discussion about parents dictating their children what to do. My son goes to one of the best schools in our country because i want him to have a better future, not to become like me but to become his own person. I just told him that he needs to study hard if he doesn't want to end up like other children, picking up garbage and selling them so they could eat. I don't want to dictate to him what he needs to be, but i shall guide him accordingly.

I did not seen your discussion same about this. Anyway a little bit far to you because my son is studying also in a good college (UP Diliman) which I suggested to him because I know the possibility if the children is from good school. you know what I mean. When he starting college he asked first where you want me to study then then I told him the school, he said ok I will go there - so he is stuying there. I'm not dictating just suggesting and supporting him

My parents really worked hard so they could send us to school when we were young. I thank God for their encouragement. I am helping them now to send my youngest sister to school. And like them, I'm encouraging her to finish her studies with flying colors as well. Our parents value education as they were not able to finish a degree. Seeing us, their children, is a great achievement for them. My mother once said that their "pamana" or inheritance for us is our education.

My system is not sending my children to school. I home school because of bad experiences that I had in my particular school system. And of course I am involved hands on, on a daily basis with my children's education and make sure they do what they are supposed to. I never tell my children to become business people. I leave the door wide open as far as what particular path they choose in life. In my opinion, seeing the people I have in this world, I don't particularly care what vocation they choose, as long as they make a decent enough living to provide for themselves and or their families and turn out to be good people.

Oh really you have own school at your home - am I right? that's good and better to monitor the children, however, I observed before in our place the owner children are the trouble maker in the school because of their power inside.. Yeah that is the common thought of most Chinese to become business people. Some are forcing them to do what the parents wanted.. Other yes your right open wide for what is better and give good to outcome.

i personally think that going to school is not important, but education is very important. Next time, i will prefer my child to be home-schooled

Wow that's your reason why? sorry but I think not really valid reason of getting away for you said bad habits possible from schools. I know that sometimes the reality of our society is like that but for me life is struggling to fight the reality not getting away or avoid it...

ya, its true they will miss the chance to interact with people. But i really don't like the fact that most bad habits that kids learn is from schoolmates.

Hi visavis, My thoughts are a little different, in that I believe that we are all born with different talents. I encouraged my children to find what they enjoy doing in life because happiness is more important that making a lot of money. They need an education, but everyone don't need a business education. I have three grown sons and they all graduated university, something that I encouraged, but their choice of a career was always their choice. Blessings.

hi, i think because Chinese citizenship is a business minded so they want their children to become like them as a successful businessman/woman in the future, and because many of Chinese people are already rich so they will need to learn how to multiply or increase more their money.
