HPV vaccine.. you taken yours?

Have you taken HPV vaccine? How much does it cost in your country? Any side effect?
I have not taken mine but plan to in the near future. It cost $150 equivalent to USD50 per jab here. The sixth grade in school can get the shots for free.
How about your place?

I never got mine. I remember it came out a few years ago when I was still in high school but my mom never made me get it because we were told stories of what happened to some girls. Also, the shot is useless to get once you're already sexually active. My doctor told me that last year when I went for a visit and she talked about the shot. I'm not sure how much it costs though.

I'm pretty sure because that's what I heard from my gynecologist. Double check and maybe do some online research and ask your doctor as well. But from what I've heard, it's pretty pointless to get the shot once you're active. That's why they try and give it to young teen girls before they get involved in that.

Hi Cocoo! Yes, ive taken mine 2 years ago. I think it costs around 150USD. It is nice to know that the gradeschoolers can get it for free! Is this subsidized by the government?

I haven't take one either. I'm planning to have one, but since it cost a lot of money (it's about $160) I'm still waiting for the approval from my husband's office insurance section. I hope they will approve the subject.
