I'm sorry guys, I held off ALL DAY and did not post in POLITICS.
But this is just to much to HOLD BACK. (unfortunately, not writing about politics as much, doesn't mean I won't READ about politics as much and I do so love Breitbart's site:
http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2012/06/07/Art-Bensmithing-Obama-New-Party
Barack Obama lied about not being a socialist. He joined the socialist NEW PARTY while in Chicago.
Oh, I remember it well. We were thisclose to election day, the wind was squarely at Barack Obama's back, the media was refusing to vet the history and background of anyone in Obama's past (besides, most every investigative reporter in the free world was in a place called Wasilla), and then along came the news that while in Chicago, as a grown man in his 30s, Barack Obama had joined something called The New Party -- a radical, socialist organization whose political endorsement he had sought.
HE HAD SOUGHT. Did you catch that, sought their support, joined their party.
But that is only part of the story. You see, the MSM and in particular a journalist named Ben Smith wrote that he had vetted the future pres on this and found NOTHING to be concerned with. No socialist here, move on....quit being so racist...move on!
This is just ONE of the things the mainstreamidiots KNEW and lied about, and while I am busy calling names here myself, (though not calling anyone racist, just liars) Obama himself said it was irresponsible for right leaning journalists like Hannity and O'Reilly or Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh to call him a socialist. He even put up a website SMEARING them while he claimed they were smearing HIM. Are you getting this? Lie and then turn around and call the people whom you claim are lying, liars?

I saw this news and heard it on the talk shows and got emails about it. I wonder how much difference it will make to people who don't want to know this. I hope those with open minds who were deceived will become angry about the lies and decide they don't want a liar as president.

I'm hoping many will continue to wake up. Those who don't care if he's a socialist will continue to be supportive and miss the fact that he's something worse, a liar.

This president is such a light weight when it comes to the truth. He is not even a particularly good liar!
I have always maintained that within a year of his leaving office he will be involved in Un American activities. (all of the stuff going on, right now, could, if given a wide margin be considered simple incompetence - Yeah, I don't believe that either) I guess I was wrong about the timing!
His un presidential actions, on almost every occasion, is stunning from someone who is supposed to be so smart.
Wake up, people.

I think he's coming apart at the seams.
Did you read about his speech where he inadvertantly made a bad joke about Obama and Ellen De Generes? It is almost as if he either didn't mean to, and the audience took what he said wrong and he was stunned by their response. Or he meant to and gave that needed pause just to milk more laughs. It was a scripted speech, and he's either totally confused or maybe...embarrassed?

Thanks for this info.. I saved the link, summarizing it thus
"1. Something happens or is discovered that might hurt Obama.
2. That something is discovered in the alternative media and uncovered.
3. Ben Smith (or the equally dishonest PolitiFact and Media Matters) pretend to investigate it, write something up disguised as "definitive," and then hand the complicit media an excuse to ignore it.

Yell loud enough and long enough someone will believe you, or at least they will not be able to hear the other people telling the truth about you.

I tend to ignore people who are yelling. I am skeptical when everybody things the new guy is a hero as well.

It is hard to 'pay attention' when people are yelling, that is why liars like the left who support Obama use it as a tactic to keep people from understanding, they know people tune it out or side with the angry one.

People won't hear from the sources they normally listen to, but some who are here, will see it even if they don't comment.
And that's what you have to rely upon, that you have published it and the information is out there for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. How many of those who regularly comment on this topic will respond other than those who agree with you and who are not surprised by the news but disgusted by the media's refusal to broadcast it?
We see that his policies are based in socialism. We see his own words in his own book calling himself a Marxist. Now we see him joining a party dedicated to socialist ideas. How can we think he is anything but a socialist?
The reason that those who blindly support Obama will not comment on this post is that it cannot be refuted, it cannot be argued and they would prefer to sweep this under their rugs, where even they won't have to acknowledge it. But rest assured, they have read this post. The fact that they have no answer to it is telling. Perhaps one day, they will be able to view all of this with an open mind. But in any case, they can't say they didn't know.
