My teeth has been very sensitive lately, even if the water i drink is not so cold, it hurts.. Maybe i have a cavity, or is it because my enamel is coming ff. The medicine is not working so well...Anyone has suggestions?

Sensitive teeth means there is irritation of nerves in the tooth. I'm not a dentist but I just visited my dentist last month and she explained to me what causes the sensitive teeth. I suggest you visit a dentist too and get an assessment. Not all sensitive teeth are caused by a damaged tooth enamel. There could be other causes like constant exposure to acid such as frequent vomiting or bulimia.

Turns out it was not a sensitive tooth, but a cavity.. It started in the middle part which is why i did not see it at all.. good thing i got it filed this morning.. it doesn't hurt much anymore.

I have sensitive teeth too. I have tried with special toothpastes, but it doesn´t help as much as I´d like to. I think I will go to the dentist soon to see if there´s a way to add fluoride or something like that in another way.

I trust dentists more. i think that fake dentists in commercials don`t vouch for a good toothpaste. And maybe there are other ways to deal with it.

Yeah, i only trust my personal dentist too, when it comes to serious teeth work.. I don't really like otehr dentists since they are not so nice and considerate, especially guy dentists.. based on my experience.

There is a famous brand of toothpaste for sensitive teeth here- i see they have a lot of commercials.. and they even have testimonials of people who try the product.. i am not so convinced though.

I guess it's time to visit the dentist anew. The sensitiveness of your teeth is not common so you must consult your dentist immediately before it's too late. Since the medicine she/he prescribes have done no progress maybe she/he can suggest a different medicine.

I just hope your dentist can do something about your teeth's sensitivity. I know the feeling of having an aching teeth, it affects almost all parts of our body so it's really a sacrifice if not checked. I just hope you are feeling okay now.

Well better consult a dentist to know what is really happening to your teeth and for the dentist to prescribe proper medication for that.Sometimes self medication is quite bad so it is really better to consult an expert to that.

My teeth are pretty sensitive too. For a while I tried using the toothpaste for sensitive teeth and it only helped a little. My teeth are sensitive to really cold things, especially my front and back teeth. Ice cream isn't fun to eat because it hurts my teeth too much. I think I'm going to mention something to my dentist the next time I go because I don't really know what else to do besides try the sensitive toothpaste, which I've already done.

It was a cavity.. that's why it hurt. I don't really believe those commercials saying that they can cure sensitivity of teeth. I think the dentist can help a lot so go to them directly so you won't suffer anymore.
