Many members of PtcBox have complained that their accounts have been hacked and their money stolen. (I don't know whether this happened in other PTCs too, but I've seen a similar attempt on eMoneySpace forum too.) It's alleged that people who had accounts with hyper-bux and/or cutebux are facing this problem. Particularly those who use the same password for all PTC sites. If you are one of such persons who use the same password for PTC sites, it's time to make it unique for each site.

Thank god i am not in any of these sites. But i have never faced any problem like this. usually i use different passwords for various sites so i feel that it will be safe. I have been in many bux sites and never faced any problem.

I do not want to be a member of not so much legit sites like the one you mentioned. In these days it is important to protect our files and accounts from hackers and phishers. Good thing you remind everyone about that negative scenario at least now they will be aware of creating multiple passwords especially to some important accounts online.

It always be a good thing to have unique password for every sites, but of course it would be less convenient.. But we need to take that drawback, especially if we already invest some money on the sites.

Sometimes I usually wonder whether those people who get access to other people account are connected with the website and how comes some website are more vulnerable than others?
