Hello MyLotters!!! Last night was our "family night" for this week. We live close to a bowling alley and my kids have wanted to go for awhile now. So, my husband said, "Let's go have some fun!" My kids are 5 and 7. This was thier first time bowling. I was very much excited, because I too love to bowl and teach my kids new things! It's so much fun! We had one lane open for the kids, which had bumpers on the sides, and one lane for us parents. My kids had so much fun picking out the color of their balls and the shoes too. My kids are so easliy thrilled and I love that about them! Well, needless to say, both of them kept on making strikes! I didn't know that they would be so naturally skilled at this. I was very proud of them. So, their dad had the bumpers taken off the sides and not one gutter ball was thrown! Talk about impressive, this was there first time to go bowling and no one would have even known! Wow, my kids amaze me every day, but the most important thing to me was that we all had a blast together last night! Family night is so much fun! I wonder how many other families take the time to create family night. I feel it is very important and it doesn't always cost a lot. Bowling last night was only 15 dollars for the 4 of us and we played 3 full games.

Aww, I miss bowling with my family. We used to go every Monday (dollar day). Sounds like you guys had a great time! And looks like you found a new great family active, your kids like it and they are being active. They seem pretty talented as well!! No gutter balls? Nice. =)

Hello JieMing, I also miss bowling with my sister. We only went a few times when I was younger, but I remember it being a time that we actually got along and she was herself. Yet, she has become someone I do not trust to be around my children, as I protect them from toxic people. Yes, no gutter balls! Can you believe how quickly they caught on? I am so impressed and excited to take them bowling again! I love it! Maybe I should get them into a kids bowling league...if that even exists..haha! Thanks!
