"I got you" that's what I told to the squeaking mice that lies on my trap.
I have some little mice here going around since this house is already old. I always have a sticky mouse trap that I put a piece of meat or bread as a bait. And I put it on the hall way up stair. I'm mylotting here in my bed when I heard the squeaking mice. To bad for him she gets on my trap.
So how did you get rid of mice in your house?

I'm sorry bhaby but Odie will not allowed your cat to enter.
I always want to have cat in here sometimes I borrowed one from my neighbor but Odie will chase the cat. Now Odie sometimes chase mice too, maybe he wants to prove that if cat can do it he can too.

We used a iron mouse trap. The same as you, put a piece of meat inside and then open the gate of the trap. If anything touches the trap, the gate will shut automatically. Better not let the kids walk close or mistakenly put your hands in.
It is really annoying to hear the voice of the mouse. The mouse is daring to eat in the street. Even you walk by, they won't escape. I know it is not humanism, but that is what we need to battle with the mouse.

I have that kind when I'm still living in the house before I came here we put it outside for big rats like kitten. Because even the cats are afraid of them.

First of all Congratulation for the achievement. By god's bless, we don't have a mice in my home. But in my college , i mean the room which i used to stay during the college days, mouse were there. But unfortunately we couldn't kill the mice. They escaped from many traps. At last we blocked their entrance completely to the house and now there is no disturbances.

I'm glad that you blocked their way going on to yours, they are all irritating.

We have to trap them also. We use the old fashion type that kills on contact, it seems better that way to me. I wish that I could just chase them out and not have to kill them, but if we don't they just breed and then we have even more.

One time we had a mice problem at my parents house. I don't remember how they ultimately got rid of them all, but I do remember one incident. My mom picked up their bedroom trashbin, and voila - there was a little tiny mouse scrambling on the floor underneath. My mom was surprised, so she just SCREAMED - and the mouse FROZE (I guess he got stunned!). It was just enough time for her to smack it with the broom she happened to have in her hand - ha ha. Bye bye one mouse.

Good thing that you already got it.
We also used sticky mouse trap at home when there is a mice around but sometimes there are fast and strong enough to pass the sticky trap lol.As for now, no mice are visible in the house due to cat that we have now.

I never had a mouse but if I did I guess it would be a trap and then free her and put her outside.

My question to you how much joy for the event.
I usually use regular trap, I put the food inside, and when the mouse inters to eat this food trap door lock on it.
There are other means such as an ultrasonic vibrations, which would expel the nice away from where we live, but some fear of their potential impact on children.

As many already here knows, I am a cat person and so are my other family members, so you would definitely expect cats in my house. This solves the mouse problems. There was actually a short period of time where we had no pet cat at home and there was mouse infestation. It didn't last long though, because as soon as we had cats around again they got hunted or ran away scared, i guess.

we are really annoyed by these pests but we do not have move so far as to how to eliminate them. it's bad for the business of my wife as when nighttime, they attack the products, the foods and drinks in sachets. but good thing there are some cats strayed in our place and watching the pests movements.

poor little thing. i used to have my cat catch them. way back when i had them.many years ago. then it didnt bother me so much. but now im glad i dont have to see them struggle and die. ive gotten to soft in my old age. plus, just like your odie, my coco would likely chase the cat.
