Remember when i had once a discussion about my mother and I? I just thought about leaving it all behind and move on. she's my mom after all. I know what she had been through when I was little. I couldn't even imagine how hard she worked for us. All those hardships and sufferings she made, came into me and made me realize I should swallow my pride. We may have differences, but I need to make it work out and establish a healthier relationship. Life is too short after all!

Hi! Well i am glad to hear you are moving forward and thinking about reconnecting with your mother. I am also glad to hear you acknowledge the hard work your mom has put into bringing you up. Many people in this world fail to grant their parents the proper respect and gratitude that they so very rightly deserve. Not everyone is alike! I mean even the fingers of one hand are quite dissimilar so how can one expect two human beings to be exactly alike in their mannerisms and their thinking. Also i think its very healthy to be able to understand one another with the differences rather then forcing them to accepting one's opinion. And yes life is too short to be wasted in arguing over trivial matters! Live and let live!!! That should be the motto!!! (sometimes)

I am married for almost eight years now, but I decided to stay at my mom's house and leave my work and so with my hubby in hubby's province, sometimes I would like regret my decision before but while contemplating on it I came to realize I did the right decision. My hubby and I did not separate ways we are still together and already has one daughter though we are trying to work out our long distance relationship.
The sacrifice I've made is really the right and the best thing I've ever made, for I am with my mom and I've got the chance of taking care of her and let her feel that whatever happens I'll never leave her and always be on her side.
We are trying to work out all our misunderstandings and live life to the fullest, after all life is too short, we have to make the best out of it, something that we could never regret.
Have a happy day!

I have not read about your previous discussion but definitely what you intend to do right now is on the right direction. In life, we make mistakes and along the way, we tend to forget that no matter how or what the differences are, family is always a family. life is indeed short and it would be great to spend it with people who loves and cares for us.

Indeed, life is really too short. We have to count each day as a blessing and don't take for granted.Enjoy each that we have and life it to fullest as long as we can.Things might happened each day unexpectedly so better be ready enough to face those things.Live each day happy and enjoy no matter what happened.End each day with a smile cause we will never know what tomorrow will offer to us.

I agree. Let's spend precious moments with our mothers in every opportunity we have. Though disagreements are part of life, let these strengthen our relationships and not tear us apart. "Swallowing your pride" is a humble act. You will reap the good fruits of your actions to your mom soon.

Indeed, Life is too short but it amazes how men live their lives as if they got up to 150 years or more to spend on earth. We know that we called to make an impact but very few people are concerned about the impression they leave on people they meet in life. Mothers role in our lives can not be under-estimated. It is good of you recalling the impact of your mother to you. Cheers to your mother Vanate
