Birds are awsome

Yeah the birds are really beautiful animals. For some people the birds are everything and this is their life. I also really like them.However I envy them because I really won to be like them to fly in the sky with no problems on my head!

I love to watch the birds in my garden and when I am out in different landscapes. I saw a robin bird and took my pictures with my camera of him. That is the sort of bird found on a Christmas cards in December. I live close to the sea like 3 miles away so there can be many sea gulls around. In Australia when I was there as a working holiday maker and traveler the second time around I saw different bird life than we have in England. Our birds in England are mostly brown. There they have very colorful birds. Most of all I adore their Port Lincoln Parakeets. I also love their Cockatoos. Wow! They have a bird which I have heard called a Galah and it one type of Cockatoo. It is pink and gray. The rainbow Lorikeet and it is all different colors similar to its name. Oh, my it is a lovely looking bird. I was staying in a bush area north of Sydney. Some white Cockatoos where sitting near to the table where the people were eating breakfast. One of the Cockatoos took a little boy's piece of toast. Also in Australia I have seen penguins and that was amazing.

It is really nice to see and witness the beauty and how amazing our nature is.We are so modern now with high technologies this world offers but spending some times seeing the beauty nature is really relaxing and great to do.

I agree that birds are really beautiful to watch. We are not allowed to have pets here in our building where I am living but I am lucky enough that there are some birds visiting our humble abode whenever we open our windows It is very stress relieving to watch these beautiful creatures!

I enjoy bird watching as well, Misfitlady56. It is fortunate for you that you also have water for them to use, as you can enjoy watching them in the water. Of course, it is sad when any creature drowns.

Birds are really fun to watch and to play with it also better if you have a bird as a pet. they are easier to take care of than dogs and cats, they are also easier to feed because seeds are not as expensive as dog food or cat food.

I enjoy watching birds, too. I just have one feeder because I had to get an expensive one to keep the squirrels out! I would like to have a small pond in the back yard. I have what was once a fountain that I try to keep water in for them, but it gets hot quickly and evaporates in just a few hours. I like to sit on the back patio and watch the birds especially in the evening.

hi Misfitlady, it sounds like you are like you are surrounded by a beautiful setting..Yes birds are really nice to just sit back and observe...and they are also beautiful in colors...it is a sad thought to see baby birds fall from their nest into the pond... I have never seen a real chipmunk in my life,,,,,

yeah me too...birds are just amazing creature they are one of the bet gifts nature had given us....i see you have two feeders with you well that's great...i have a parrot with me and i spend a lot of time with it...its is just wonderful to have birds...
