Last month my choir group celebrated its 29th anniversary. For a change, we decided to have a fashion show as our main event in the party. The clothing we used in the event were made of indigenous materials like coconut leaves, dried leaves of a tree, used sacks, used cd's, and other recyclable materials. I was so impressed with some of my co members because they're so artistic and talented in creating a gown out of those things. Wish I could be like them. Anyway, as one of the fashionistas, i wore a gown which was made from coconut leaves. Actually, it's a once in a lifetime chance for me to join in this kind of event. Knowing that I'm a quite shy kind of person. Heheh..But it was fun indeed and i never expected to win one of the major prizes. Thanks to my designer. For me, everybody did a great job to make our anniversary a spectacular one.
How about you, have you tried doing something new? Have a fabulous weekend mylotters! :)

it is always nice to do and try something new. if you enjoyed the show you did, then it was worth it. at times, people surprise us with their creativities. we thought we know them but there is still something in them that can surprise us that we do not know yet. in my case, i am trying to test my physical endurance by biking for 20 kilometers this weekend.

The entire exterior of my house is finished with marble chips including the roof which was my idea of a least maintenance concept. It is now twenty years and we have not had the need to do anything with our exteriors except that we wash the roof once a year to rid itself of algae which during the monsoons.
