She must not be much of a cook!

The lady I'm petsitting for keeps telling me to eat anything. I'm not here most of the time and bring my own food. I was looking what to cook for dinner most of the things are premade or processed she has a pile of Minute Rice packages, Sidekicks, microwaveable dinners, and hamburgers / hotdogs. I took a prok loin out and thinking how to cook it. They don't have many cooking appliances either which make me think they don't cook from scratch. I mean I was raised on homecooked meals, and I try to make everything pretty much from scratch. I mean she only has boxed potatoes whereas I always has fresh.

I'm guessing if she has a pet sitter she's too busy to cook.

I don't eat potatoes like that, they have to be fresh. I have tried country crock potatoes once, and liked them, but I'd still rather have them fresh. I do the minute rice in the microwave now but used to a long time ago do it on the stove. The world's becoming lazy cooks to be quite honest.

could be or she could be a lazy cook. i know people who work and then cannot be bothered to cook anything for themselves when they get home so they spend a fortune on easy stuff to make.

If she's anything like my friend Kerry, she just flat out cannot cook. Kerry could burn water, and that's using a timer. Like some people can't grow flowers, and others can't sew (that would be me) some people should not be allowed into any kitchen where the unsuspecting might end up eating whatever they produce. Kerry could kill cockroaches with some of the stuff she's served up. So, the lady can't cook, what of it? For some people, it's only the artificial preservatives holding them together and keeping them going. I've never tried a box of spuds, and have no intention to so indulge, but if it works for them and they can afford to have someone come and pet-sit, good on 'em. I used to be a dog-walker, before the beast broke my leg, but it's nice that she cares enough to make sure her pet(s) are looked after.

Well it depends on her. She might just can't cook or just don't want to cook. You can try to cook with her few times to see did she just don't want to cook or just can't. Well if she agree cooking with you.
