We own our 4 bedroom home which sits on 2 acres. It is wonderful to not have to pay rent, although I have not paid rent in a very, very long time.

I rent an apartment. I think rent is good for the amount houses cost around here.

My partner is a new time home buyer just last year. So we are now in a house that we are no longer paying rent. :) Its nice to know that whatever changes we do...it is ours.

I own and our payments are $1600 a month. We are getting ready to move for a year and a half and I am looking at homes to rent. WE are renting this one out when we move. So if I can get something cheaper up there I will make some money on the deal.
