Just bought two (2) brand new tires for my car, where will i place it? front ?

I just bought two brand new tires for my car to replace my old tires. Just got confused on where to place it. If it should be in front or at the rear? I want to place it in front but some say I have to put it at the rear. Can you help me decide which is the best thing to do? Thanks for the help.

When only two tires are replaced, the new ones are usually placed at the front. Choose the better two (from the 4 old ones) for the rear.
