I also like the removal of the extra step - but yes they don't pay for images anymore :( I am very bummed because I was really enoying taking photo's. I agree about the tabs - there are too many now so we have to go through an extra step now :(

I like the new links to find discussions, especially the quick link to the discussions my friends have started. I also like the ability to post a reponse faster since you aren't required to preview it anymore.
As far as photos, yes you still get compensated for images you post in your interests and in the discussions themselves. You just won't be compensated for the new images you post to your profile. This should be stated at the bottom of the photos page. I hope this helps!

You might want to start adding photos to your interests, then. I agree that the people who upload the internet pics should not get credit and I also prefer to upload my own photos. By uploading photos to your interests, you can help build out the categories you like, too.

I also like the ability to post faster. It seems the mylot admin have made plenty of changes and I'm really happy that I don't get that awful white page anymore!
I understood that about the photos- but I find its muuch harder to find photos that have anything to do with discussions. Most of the myLot users just steal their images - *my MAJOR pet peeve! - but I prefer to use only photo's I actually have the rights to!
Anyway I guess the photo's didn't pay that well anyways :(

I also think some of the new tags make it easier to find discussions..
I guess I was being a bit negative when I started the discussion - there are many changes that have been positive too :)

I like most of the new changes. Easier to find friends discussions without having to go to their pages.

It is nice to have all the discussions your friends have posted readily available.
I guess the changes have been well thought out - I just find it's not as user friendly as before. There are too many tabs now : they don't fit on one page. :(

i like the new changes. the reason i think they did the thing with not paying for images any more is because too many people were abusing it, they were posting images that didn't even relate to the topic.

I understood that they are still paying for the images posted in discussions - so those people who are abusing that can still continue to do so - we just don't get paid for the photo's in our profiles :(
Don't get me wrong though - some of the changes are for the better... I guess change always takes some getting used to.

I am also so sad about this :( I had gotten in the habbit of taking a photo every day specially to post it - so many beautiful flower photo's - now I don't think i will keep taking photo's so often :(

i like it! it makes things a lil more easier and fun! Now you can change your profile color and have intrests to talk about! it does make it a whole lot easier!
