A toilet with two seats in toilet

While I was in the hotel, the neighbor in other room said his toilet has two seats, I could not believe, saw it, here is a similar picture of a dual seat.
I asked the manager, he said Sir we have this because some costumers come with kids, babies, at times 2 babies want to use at the same time; another reason they soil one, so the other can be used.
[b]I appreciate this idea.
Have you ever seen one such?
This concept looks nice to me?
What is your view?

Please share.
Thanks in advance.

This has to be one of the strangest concepts that I have ever encountered. I appreciate the reasoning and can see the benefits in some circumstances, but since we have grown accustomed to one seat per toilet throughout the whole of our lives then it seems rather alien to deviate from the accepted standard.
I have to give the proprietor full marks for originality and ingenuity.

This is really odd to me! I don't know how I'd feel encountering a toilet like this myself...I think it would belong only in a hotel room (for the couple that does everything together?) or in a family bathroom for a parent and their child. Or perhaps, do you think that it was built specifically for siamese twins? it's a wonder...

It was funny that the toilet had two seats and I haven't ever seen anything like that before. It sounds useful for a mother and her three year old child. A baby needs to have his or her diaper changed on a diaper changing mat. If one toilet gets soiled a cleaner should come in to clean it.

Uncle Professor, in fact i haven't seen this type of toilet which have 2 seats. Indeed, the manager have quite a good idea as to make toilet with 2 seats, so easy for his customers to use. But for me, i am really not used as to share toilet with anyone. I prefer to do my business personally and alone. Same for my whole my family members. We are not used to share toilets together...

Hi Professor
Nope.. I have never seen something like this. Its seems little funny. I mean two seats together, who is going to use. I mean now days even kids will not love to go together for this purpose.. That's what I seen in kids around me.. But yes, small kids can use it together in emergency case.. Not sure at all. But surely this is unseen thing, I have even not heard about it.

Hey rayon,
i feel this type of toilet is good for the kids but i don't think an adult can't use this at the same time because most of the people like me feel shy to use the bathroom at the same time.

This is the first time i an seeing and hearing about a two seated toilet. Such toilets will be comfortable to use for the kids and the family at the same time and this is a great idea.

I have to say that of all that many hotels that I have been to, I have not seen any hotel offering these type of dual seat toilet. I felt relieved when you say that the manager claimed that the dual seat would come in handy when two babies want to use the toilet at the same time. Because I cannot imagine to be relieving myself right beside of another person regardless of who that person may be. The dual seat is just too close with one another that our bottom can be touching the other person's. Such a weird idea it is.

A couple might use it too, if they feel proper

That's cool! However, I notice that both have only one tank, does this mean that every time you flush both the bowls are flushed?? - that's too expensive and environmentally unfriendly if that's the case!
I have never seen one though.
Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

I have never seen or heard of anything like this. I am not sure if it is a good idea or not. It would be good for parents who's child has to go at the same time, but how often does that happen?

BahahahahahahaHA!
I still prefer my trusty, 2-hole outhouse to this. I can't imagine using this, even with the children.
