The NBA championship match is set. Oklahoma City represents the west and Miami represents the east. Oklahoma is very young and hungry and Miami is a little more experienced and also hungry for a championship. Should be a terrific series. Who do you like? Who do you think will win and why? My feeling is that Miami will take it but it is a very close call in my view. I'm not a fan of Miami by the way. Just my gut is telling me this. I've been wrong before but I don't think I am.

I don't really care much for either team especially Miami. I think it's going to be a great series. I'm going to give a slight edge to the Thunder. Miami has no kind of front court in my opinion, and Oklahoma City's team is complete. They have interior defense, and they have great shooters in Durant, Westbrook, and Harden. They also have an experienced veteran with Derrick Fisher. I say that OKC wins in 6 games. I still wish my Spurs or the Bulls were in the finals though.

I respect your opinion my man, but I disagree with you regarding Fisher. I don't even like him that much, but you can't tell me that a player who has hit so many big key game winning shots that have put daggers in other teams hearts isn't a factor. If I recall correctly, he hit a key three pointer in the last series against the Spurs, and I'm a huge Spurs fan. It's OKC's first go round in the NBA Finals, and besides Perkins and Fisher they don't really have any other players who have won championships. As far as Bosh goes, I don't see him being a huge presence inside. Between Serge Ibaka and Kendrick Perkins, I think the Thunder have enough to contain Bosh. That is unless he plays on the perimeter, which is something he can do. I do agree with you that it will be a great and entertaining series though.

I know where you are coming from on this but I hate say it father time is catching up with Fisher. He may score a key basket here and there yet but he won't be the reason OKC wins a title or not. Bosh's inside out game is a strength all in itself. I played the post in highschool and college. Back then I wasn't supposed to shoot from more than ten feet away from the basket unless the team was desperate. The game started to change when I was in college. Two games after the coach gave me the green light to shoot threes if I had to, I went from moderate role player to near allstar. Opponents worried anytime I got the ball in the offensive end. The difference that made to the team was huge. It gave our other bigs more room to maneuver and gave the guards room to drive the hoop. I see that in the Heat. That's why I'm high on Bosh's value. Kendrick Perkins and Serge Ibaka are serviceable but neither really impresses me individually. They fill their roles well with the Thunder I'll grant them that much. Enjoy the series. Game one is in the books now.

I like Fish and think he is a great player. I really don't think he is a key to this series. In the past he provided Kobe with a missing element and made him a better player. I don't think Durant and company need the same kind of player to put them over the top. Chris Bosh is a key player though. If he provides the kind of front court presence the team needs they could win it all. If he doesn't perform they don't have enough in the paint to win this series. I think it's going to be a great series.

Kevin Durant is a great player. A championship ring would certainly be another step to the hall of fame. I think OKC is a good team with staying power. More so that the Heat. When the Heat signed their big three there was talk of them being the newest dynasty. Even if they win it all this year I don't think they are a dynasty. I think OKC has a better shot at that distinction.

Hi koopharper, me either, i'm not a fan of both teams. I'm actually a Laker. They are both good teams in all corners - defense and offense. I think, Oklahoma can bring an upset here - if everything works well with them and make it even better during their regular or their offseason. I think, this is their time to shine. I agree with you, the fight will be that very close.

Let's go heat! As a heat fan, I am hoping that they come out on top but I believe that the heat is in for the fight of their lives. I just hope that they don't pull that, "let's slowed down and do poorly in the first half and pickup the slack in the fourth" because OKC will sink them.

I agree. For the Heat to win this they have to be all business and make sure they put each game away when they can. They slack and they lose. Simple as that.
