Hello MyLotter friends!!!
I am about to start yoga classes next week to calm my nerves and relax. I do not have too many negative stresses, but I think it will help to enjoy a few moments of healing time. I spend a lot of hours working, going to college and educating my kids too...So, I need a place to rejuvinate my body and mind once a week or so.
I was just wondering who has done yoga and what has your experience been so far. Does it really work?

You're going to love it. At first I was groaning, it was early in the morning and I was tired and highly intimidated. By the second week I was loving it. And it gives you so much energy the rest of the day.

Awesome. It's hard not to like it. A word of advice, I absolutely hated down dog at first, now it's my favorite position. You definitely get used to it and better at it and it feels really good on your spine. I'll be checking back to see how you're doing later in the month.

ForSouls1234,
I actually had my first class yesterday morning. I thought I'd be a bit nervous around a room full of people I had never communicated with before, but my friend decided to tag along for the fun with me. I must say, it was a very enlightening experience. I enjoyed the peace and the stretching done some good as well. I am really getting excited for my next class. Thanks for your input!

Hello ravisivan, My friend
I cannot wait to try meditation too. I love the idea of it all, and I need the silence and time to concentrate on my breathing. My sister-in-law has done yoga now for about one year and it has been very benefical for her. I also lke that it will improve my flexiblity, because I've lost some of that since palying sports. I also like that it realives stress too, as you have mentioned. Thanks for the help on this question! You've been great!

Hi,
I have tried yoga for some days. It is very good exercise for our body and mind. It is very useful in strengthening our muscles. There is a type of yoga called Pranayam is a breathing exercise. It is very useful for purification of blood as oxygen level is increased by this type of yoga. You will find the difference in health after joining yoga classes.
