Prometheus, oh my!

I am not someone who really relies on reviews to decide whether I should watch a movie or not. I have not seen Prometheus yet but I am itching to get tickets, for me and my family.
Have you seen it guys?
If so, how was the experience?
Oops, just make sure you do not include spoilers. I do not mind knowing each frame of the movie but others may lose interest because they know certain details. :)

definitely would be a toss-up between 3d and Imax. Can't wait to see the movie

I heard different reviews about it but it still depends with me if I do love the movie. I also haven't watch the movie yet. I really want to. I love alien kind of movie its gives you chill in your bones. So, whatever reviews it might had or have I'm gonna watch the movie.

:) I am quite stubborn, too. Reviews do help but you still make the final decision, right? If the reviews saying the movie sucks are wrong and I watched it, I would be ultra-happy about it. If they were right and I still watched it, that's my problem :)
Still, whether a movie sucks or not, I am really after the experience. I love love love Science Fiction. So, I hope to catch this new Ridley Scott feature some time this week.

I watched it last week, to be honest the first 20 minutes were a bit boring for me. It gets much more tense after the half hour mark onwards. The special effects is undoubtedly terrific and the story itself is interesting, but after watching there are still some scenes are still a bit confusing and I'm still figuring out how they correlate to the movie

I've seen it, it was cool but rather confusing and kinda pointless, the origin topic is badly conducted and the conclusion it gives on that wasn't interesting, but it has amazing effects and good actors. I'd give it an 6,5 out of 10.

I have only seen the trialer of this a few times on television.. But it seems like a god mystery/sfi fi/ thriller. And the actors in it are good actors too. You should deinitely watch it.

ive seen Prometheus.. 3 days ago
considerably good..i must say..
i gave it an 8/10 the special effects is very real..
some tense moments where u wil clenched your teeth real tight..gets u in the edge of your seat..really nice..like the feeling u get when seeing ALiens"(James cameron for the 1st time) but not so much action..
NoomiRapace did some nice acting too in this film (she's acted in The girl with dragon tattoo)....all around a good movie..
see the alien" created by another human like alien in the form of micro organism that grew according to any DNA it hostig onto..an recreate new physical design each time it came out of a another lifeform..interesting-
.I went to see it in regular 2d...but many says the 3d is really awesome..i see too as if its going to look good if watched in 3D..so probably i will try to see it in 3D too ..if got some extra bucks.
go see it ..u will like it.
