do you like replacements in your favorite serials,..?

No, I do not. You get used to associating that actor with that name and character and I have stopped watching Saathiya too. Gopi was the central character and replacing her was a dangerous move. I know the producers did this because Gia was going to participate in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and they thought that Gia dancing in short western clothes would not suit the image of Gopi in the serial. The least they can do is get a decent looking replacement, don't you agree? The new Gopi would have been acceptable if she had been at least a little pretty or cute. The new Gopi looks very scary and weird. What do you think?

Well Its bad thing in indian Television Industry when a TV star is popular with that serial he or she want more money and no doubt so many director want to join him in new serial, so no other way the director had to replace that star from his serial and no doubt their is no effect on TRP ranking of that serial as some one know his status.. Well last i say this trend start by "K" serial producer and director Ekta Kapoor when he start serial in star plus with his brand K and than he had made so many changes in his serial and no doubt their is nothing happen with serial TRP ranking and its viewership.

I love watching some Hindi tv serials too,especially 'Balika vadhu' in colors channel and 'Afsar bitiya' in z channel.The role played by Anandi in Balika vadhu is really impressive.I would not like her replaced by any other actress.Similarly the role played by Krittika as Laxmi Bai in 'Jhansi ki Rani' was really excellent.The girl who played the role of Laxmi Bai in her childhood was equally impressive.I don't like replacing such great artists.

No i don't like replacements in serial. We can't able to watch a new artist in character with replacement of previous artist who performing well.

Oh I hate it! I think most of people does, because really, how could you adapt to new face as the same character? It just don't work for me, and well, when you love how actor/actress was playing and you liked everything about it and - most importantly - it was your favourite character is no way for me to accept it. Besides maybe 'Doctor Who' series when it comes to Doctor, because new actor play new incarnation but it is really different thing, because it is the concept of the show and each Doctor is different in most of the ways while still staying the Doctor. But when it comes to other seires and more 'real life' shows it is really impossible for me to accept changes. So if some of cast would be replaced - in the meaning of changing actors which play certain character - I'd probably do as you did, stop watching it.
