There are at least a few misconceptions about disabled people. Some believe that if a person is disabled they are also stupid. No so.
I know some brilliant people who are disabled. I have one friend who has serious disabilities and he's also a walking encyclopedia.
From my point of view, a person with a disability is unable to adapt and survive while they try to fit into the "normal" box. They are a square peg trying to fit into a round hole.
We often see people who are disabled who are in denial about their disability because there is an overwhelming stigma around being disabled. It can be difficult for women to accept but even MORE difficult for a man because men are typically programmed to believe that they should be successful enough to provide for their selves, a woman and her children. That is the picture of success for a percentage of people.
When they learn to embrace their disabilities and make the best of the situation they can connect with resources they need so they can experience a happy, healthy lifestyle.
This post is about people who are disabled where career is concerned even though some people are also disabled in their ability to maintain relationships.
What are your thoughts about this? Do you know someone with a disability?

I know lots of disabled people because my son aged five years old that is disabled. He has got spina bifida and hydrocephalus. He rides around in his wheelchair and he has catheter care. He is a lovely little boy and he speaks our language well. He is at a mainstream school supported by a special needs assistant. He is good at reading and he is learning how to write. He is an intelligent little boy most people like. My son has some autistic friends and they are bright people. He has some friends that have down syndrome and they are such lovely people. When my disabled son is older he is still likely to need a carer. He might be able to do a career where the person can sit down.

Disability sometimes doesn't always mean physical.
Some people are mentally disabled and that is more critical than physically disabled.
I know few physically disabled people who lives with normal life.
Having a family and kids- and a happy life with contentment.
Disability is not all about physical handicapped- but how a person cope up and live with it.
Physically disabled people but knows how to utilize their skills, talent and knowledge are more able than those physically able people but never knows what to do with their lives.

Disabled people rather come in many forms, just like people who are in full degree of their physical and mental capabilities. There are some who are rather hard workers, trying to smartly work around their abilities. It is rather remarkable, that some of them are going to really be harder workers than many individuals with complete reign of their abilities.
Then there are others that just have given up and are not really completely there a lot of the time. There are times where it is sad to see that these people are branded with the same brush and obviously it is why there are just times where they are going to give up and act the way that people expect. I have know disabled people on both sides, who rise above it or just decide to go right forward through it.

Of course it depends on the disability and the extent of it in how people socialize and achieve. There are all kinds of disabilities. There have been famous artists, musicians even politicians that have made great contributions to society despite their disability.
One disability is a misconception that might be put forth about a disease or person afflicted with it. This too is a disability.

I do know someone who is disabled. She cannot speak well and she has a different hands that doesn't look like mine. She is very friendly and she always have a smile on her face. She sometimes like to cry because she have hard times to say some words but there was a time that I tried to be friend with her. She really was happy to have a friend like me. We sometimes talk with things about school and other things. She was very humble and her smile always tell her that she can still continue to live. We should not think any other things about them because they are ones who give us more joy to see what is tomorrow. They still do their best to put a smile on their face that they can still continue. Why don't we try to be friends with them, try to feel them that they have a family on their own who cares and loves. We try not to put some hole in their hearts that would be a cause of their loneliness.

Sometimes, people with disability have something that someone doesn't have. Also, they are successful in life. They will also serve as inspiration to others for keeping on struggling life instead of just sitting in one corner and seek help from other.
