Here's a pic posted on Twitter that says it all about Obama's 'kill list'; you know, where he is the superhero who single-handedly fights the war on terror that is over, except for those nasty domestic terrorists who are clinging to their guns and Bibles and need armed drones flying over them as they play soccer? http://twitpic.com/9u7la9 Your thoughts?

Interesting! I am just curious if this was Republican President. I think they would be haled as a hero. I guess because it is a black Democrat President, he is just power hungry. Republicans have kind of forced his hand in being this way. If he lets up one iota he is called weak and an appeaser. Just like what Republicans keep trying to paint him on with his dealings with Iran, especially from a certain Republican Presidential nominee.

Deb I hear what you are saying, but if this was a Republican President. Everyone would be saying this administration is keeping our country safe. Of course then you would have the left complaining how the Republicans are abusing their power. It is a never ending cycle. I think some on the right are just upset because Obama is better on defense than they are. My personal feeling is I would much rather see drone strikes than us invading anymore countries. Is it a 100 percent accurate measure, probably not. Then again nothing is.

What bothers me crossbones, is the drones flying IN THIS COUNTRY. And the president's facsination with 'picking' the ones to die without oversite from military or terror experts. NO OVERSITE of this makes me real nervous. I guess the killing is easier, more 'clean'. But do we not think that those who are killed are members of larger groups that are going to be a bit upset at the attack? Do we not realize we may be making the ones who are mad at us, even MORE mad. And Iran now has a drone to copy from, will they now target US? And innocent people have been killed too as collateral damage, that is scary. It is NOT 100% accurate. When you think about it, he could target anyone, anyplace. It does not seem right. One man, a list, and deadly force. No, I don't think of that as safer for me.

I have not heard of drones attacks happening in this country. I can agree with you on that drone attacks in general are probably causing more problems than they are helping. We seem to live in a paranoid country. It goes back to the point of why not just stop all of this madness. Bring all the troops from around the world home. We can still use are special forces and other homeland security to do recon so we can keep track of any plots against us. Strengthen our boarders. Use our technology to keep us safe. It would also save us a ton of money. My whole point is if it was a Republican President most everyone on the right would have no problem with it and that President would probably have some hero worship going on. Of course then the left would be all upset. This country is just so hypocritical on these matters.
