I started really listening to Eminem when I was a teenager. At first I didn't like him because I thought he was cursing excessively for the attention. Trying to appeal to teenagers. But once I actually listened to the lyrics, I was moved. I became addicted to his music. I collected anything his was ever involved in. When he returned on the scene when everyone thought he was done, that brought me so much joy. There were times when I was a teenager that suicide was on my mind, and when I listened to his music I felt better. Of course it was the usual teenage crap waaaah my girlfriend dumped me now I wish I were dead blah blah blah, but at the time it was real to me. Eminem has done so much for me, I could never thank him enough. Have you been touched by his music? Please share your story.

I used to think it was just a load of loud swear words, but I listen closely and even though he sounds like he is not in any particular melody or rhyme, his words are very on-the-spot and he expresses emotion very well. I love the song 'Love The Way You Lie' ft. Rihanna.

There is a lot of meaning in his music. He has something to say. And he is really good at word play and catchy hooks. He used to sit in his room reading the dictionary finding words that rhym with eachother and sound good together. The man is an artist. I like that song also. But I like every song. Some more then others. His recent work is some of my favorite. I love his new style, and how he has more profound and meaningful things to say, not just complaining about his wife and mom. It is some great stuff. Listen to the song "Difficult" It is for proof, it brings tears to my eyes every time. So much truth and raw emotion. This man is truly great, and will forever be the king of rap.

the first time that i heard his songs was when i was in high school.lose yourself...but the song i was moved by was when i was gone,i really hope i could have a father like him.he loves his daughter so much.anyway,wish he got a happy family forever
