During the day and early evening life is too complicated and hectic to get things done.To get things done such as writing, reading and research online done I usually get things done at night.
Everyone in the house is asleep, the businesses are closed. No one is knocking on the door, calling on the phone, trying to sell me something.
Relief!

I get things done faster towards the end of the day. I also prefer to work when the surrounding is quiet. Though I need to work during day time, I can focus more when most of my officemates have gone home.

I agree. I get more done early mornings and late nights. It is quiet and no interruptions.

I do think that everyone has their own time of day during which they are the most productive. Mine will be changing again as I am rearranging my work duties. I am glad you have time when all is quiet and you can work.

I am hoping to get things done as well. I am trying to hard to get money so I can take Randy to a Dodger game. I know during the day things are hectic as well for me because Randy is always talking to me and wants my full attention. I have been getting a lot of phone calls lately from telemarketers and election calls which are annoying. I work on my homework and mylot late at night so I can have some peace and quiet.

I have to wait later 4 or 5 is too early especially if I had stayed up late the night before working.

I do my online writing and posting of messages in social networking sites when I get home from my 9-to-6 job. Thoughts come more easily with no disruptions like the office phone which keeps ringing all day and officemates asking questions ranging from trivial to absurd. When I'm working on multiple writing assignments, though, I end up hitting the sack past midnight, which is just about the time the body should be recharging. I hope i can sleep earlier most days of the week. how about you, do you end up depriving yourself of much-needed sleep when you end up spending much time doing online work?

I think that this is true also for me. For the most part anyways. But that depends on how late I want to stay up. I do have a good time during the day while the kids are at school. BUT.....this is their last week. I have had a really difficult time in past summers. Because I lose my break time that I would get things done with them home and loud an busy. Maybe I will be sitting here more at night while they are out.

So maybe we will be responding back and forth at the later hours of the summer. I am up a little bit later tonight. And I actually thought that I would go to bed earlier, but the quite is so appealing. I can watch tv, work on my jewelry, respond here and make good descriptive comments. I can hear myself think! And it is very good to me! But I also cant wait to take the kids swimming and that will entail me being up! LOL however they will be at camp during the day so that gives me plenty time to take a nap

I know what you mean. I think that's why I'm such a night-owl. I like to be up to do my own thing, when I am not interrupted by others. Drives me nuts when I sit down to get a little work done, and the damned phone rings. Even worse is when someone interrupts me, the minute I sit on the toilet. LOL

Oh then you love to work at night time. I have many friends who do the same. They can focus on night time only...then they do sleep in daytime.
I can't do like you. I need to sleep so that i work in daytime only and night time i have to sleep. If i change my habit, i will be so tired and can't do anything also...

I think better at night because of no distractions.I usually write online during the day too when I am alone.
