Accidents Are Not Predicted

I agree that accidents are not predictable, and are not 100% avoidable, especially with the two things you describe. Carelessness, lack of responsibility or respect for conditions or equipment are the catalyst for many accidents. Failure to exercise proper judgement, or follow established safety guidelines are also big problems. However have you heard that with respect to aircraft, there are very few true accidents? The term accident is avoided because it implies that the incident occurred with no specific fault involved, and was unavoidable. Most aircraft incidents and crashes can be attributed to someone's specific failure, or an equipment failure/design problem. For example 2 incidents involving Boeing 737's caused crashes in Colorado Springs and Pittsburgh. Both aircraft experienced un-commanded rudder movement; specifically what is called a "rudder hard-over", and at low altitude that is basically an un-recoverable condition. Both of these aircraft crashed on final approach to the respective airports. Through investigation it was discovered that the rudder power command module had a fault it the design of the servo valve. AA587 crashed shortly after take-off from JFK airport. The NTSB concluded the root cause was overuse of the rudder control, a contributing factor the operators apparent over-reaction to wake turbulence. The aircraft manufacturer cites pilot training for the overuse issue, while the airline says the rudder on that particular type of aircraft is too sensitive.

No matter how careful we are , specially in driving or riding public transport, we cannot avoid accidents if the drivers of other cars are reckless and would hit us. All we can always do is pray that we be saved from accidents and sudden and unexpected deaths.

They would not be accidents if they could not really be predicted. The next time we walk out the door, we might not be coming back. That might seem like a scary thing to think about. However, that is really just something that is very true and a very harsh part of reality. The person who is smiling and joyful today might be less than an hour away from getting in an accident. Unfortunately, accidents tend to also happen to us, based on the careless actions of the people around us. Or a simple equipment failure. The brakes go out at a crucial moment and we are unable to do what we can do. We freeze up, start panicking, wondering, freaking out. Accidents can happen each and every day, to each and every one of us. We can be careful and deal with a lot of them.

You are right, we never knew that accidents happen. But sometimes there are some premonitions but sometimes kept ignored. Another is that whatever care you have, but people around you are not, accidents still happens. I remember on my 31st birthday, my son got burned by hot water on the same day. My wife feels differently and my son really doesn't want us to go work and clings to her mom. My wife feels so strange that time but she cannot explain. Then, I received a call from our house that my son was rushed into the hospital because of the accident. That was the worst birthday in my life.

You are right we are not safe anywhere on the earth. Lots of people are dying due to plane crash, train accident, car accident, illness etc. Life is unsafe we can say at what time it will end. Some person are killing to their family members due to any reason. Accident may be occurs any time anywhere is is not predicted.

That is why it is recognized as accidents . No one can every predict an accident or else there would be no such things. Being alert and careful never hurts anybody. Recklessness is when the trouble comes in. Also aside from being careful etc. If you feel uncomfortable doing something, then don't do it. Also, don't ever allow peers to pressure you into doing something.

Accidents wont be called an accident if its predicted. If is predicted, then, there wont be any accidents at all!If I would know if later Iam going to be colliding to a 10 wheeler truck, then Iam not going to go out anymore!

Yes, accidents can't be predicted and that's why they are called accidents. However, accidents can be created to look like one to avoid suspicion. One of the movies i watched recently, happened to be about creating accident. I'm amazed to see such things happening and after watching it, it confirms my suspicion. Accidents can be created and accidents can be prevented. When we are involved in accidents, it's usually out of our hands, we can't decide or control the outcome of it. For people who are in control of it, they called it, incident.

Yes your are right that accidents can not be avoided and no matter how careful we are we are not completely safe because of other factors, such as other drivers who might not as careful as we are. But at least we can reduce the risk by being a defensive driver and most of all we should always pray to God for guidance and to keep us safe always.

In my opinion it can also be called destiny, fate plata various tricks us, we have no influence on it, this can not be uniknac.Nigdy do not know how life was supposed to be us, but on the other hand, it may lepiej.Dzieki ago and life is full of surprises , becomes more interesting.

My son just got his license about three weeks ago. It makes me very nervous for him to go out by himself still. I tried to explain to him about accidents, how you dont know they are going to happen thats why they are accidents but he says I dont trust his driving. Its not that I dont trust him hes not that experienced and you never know what may happen. and also his driving is scary!!!!! but besides for that anything can happen at anytime now if I can just get a 16 yr old to understand that!
