Yes, I wonder how London will pull off their Opening Ceremony. It should be fun watching the swimming and running events. Wonder which country will win the most gold medals?

I am!! I actually like watching the majority of the events. Soccer is fun, ice skating is interesting and for some reason the last time I even watched curling!!! I thought it would be boring to watch but it was actually kind of fun watching their form and how accurate they were.

Soccer would be fun to watch but you'll have to wait 2 more years before watching ice skating and curling again in the Sochi games.

Oh so London Olympics are just 22 days away. I was thinking that these would start in August or September. May be, it starts getting very cold in England by September, so they kept it to July-August. However, we may see some rains there. Some of the sports-persons from India are expected to get medals in boxing, shooting and wrestling. We did get some medals in Beijing 2008, which was commendable. As for hockey team, finishing among top six teams would perhaps be a great achievement. I shall be primarily be interested in Tennis, football, athletics, shooting and boxing.

The days are just counting down. With Wimbledon finishing tomorrow, it won't be long before London goes nuts again. All I want to see are some great performances.

Athletics and Swimming would be one of the most watched events. I especially like what they call Decathlon ?? - where participants take part in running, and jumping and more combination of events.

Yes, definitly getting excited now. My tickets arrived at the post office today so I can pick them up tomorrow. Then I only need to sort out whether I'll be hanging around in London the whole week I'm there or whether I should go to Edinburgh for a couple of days. I'm staying with a friend, she lives in Wimbledon so it'll be very crowded because of the tennis.

Did you have to pay a lot for the tickets? What will you be watching?

Yes, I am. I'll be watching soccer and basketball for sure. But I'll probably see other sports too, especially if it is the gold medal events.
Too bad I can't be in London; it must be really exciting there with the upcoming Olympics. I remember being a part of the opening ceremony in Los Angeles almost 30 years ago. It was a really small part, but it's just so exciting being present there at all...

Soccer and basketball should be fun to watch. I'm assuming the American Dream team will be there. Hopefully, it will be competitive and not game over in the first half.
Yes, being there would be extremely exciting. I certainly felt it 2 years ago during the winter Olympics in Vancouver.

I cannot wait for the London games to begin; have been looking forward to them since the 2008 Olympic Games came to an end. I have been swimming competitively sine I was in middle school, so I am definitly looking forward to watching all the different disciplines for that, as well as the other aquatic sports. I am also excited about the track and field events. The pole vault has been a sport that has always impressed me, so I will try to watch that every time it is on TV.
