IT sounds FUNNY but it is the TRUTH...

In fact many people in here eat cat and dog meat. They think it is normal. When i was in Korea, i saw people in there love to eat dog meat too. I think it is just culture and lifestyle like that.

I know you love pets so much...We can give out our opinion but we CAN NOT blame the others people from the others countries because they eat cat or dog meat. It belongs culture and life style. I hate any people going to the forest and catch tigers, monkey, etc...to get their meat...because with the time they maybe not longer in this world more since people often hunt and get their land for human living. But eating cat and dog meat...i have no comments with it in here, simply it is their life style, they think it looks like pork or chicken meat, that's all.

Read the first sentence of my first post. That is exactly what I said about culture. You say you hate people who hunt tigers etc. That is your opinion, you hate it. There are people here who hunt animals, that is their lifestyle. The royal family of England use dogs to hunt quail and pheasant, that is their lifestyle. I am a vegetarian and hate it. You hate what you do and I hate what I do. Many here do not even understand meat eaters at all because here, there is an abundance of vegetables, grains and fruits. Many of us, like myself do not need meat of any kind. You say you hate when certain people go into the forest. Yet you know they do it to get their living. Well I have found that in other countries they eat cats and dogs to SUPPLEMENT their diets not to live off of them. We do not understand that here in America. It looks pork or chicken so they eat it. That is too simplified. Here in America people do not CARE what it looks like it is simply unheard of to eat it. If anyone does it, they do not in any social arena admit to it, they would be instantly thought of as nuts. You live with it around you. You have a NEIGHBOR who does it. I myself would have to look far and wide to find someone who eats pets here. I could meet thousands of people in America before I found ONE who admitted when they come across a cat or dog they eat it. I might have to live many lives in order to do that ha ha.I and many where I live are vegetarians. In your country there are some who need to do that to live and feel there is nothing wrong with it. Here, just so you know and I think that you might not, people, when they are starving would never even think of eating a cat or dog. It is simply not done. Here they go to government agencies for supplemental income such as cash or food assistance. This is the difference in culture. But my point was, and I was simply making the point that because something is "in here" does not mean it is normal to all people. I have never even come across this kind of thing in my 20 years on the internet because I have never spoken to people from other countries in this type of format with this many people of different places. I know that eating cats and dogs is someones lifestyle somewhere, I have to "accept" it because what can I do about it nothing. But I will never accept it in MY society and will continue to feel unfavorably towards it, if I didn't I would not feel human any longer.

I agree with you too. We just respect their thinking because it belongs the cultures. "Catholics eat the Body of Jesus, whom they love", Really? i haven't heard about it..

Oh, thank you for your response. I have no religion...so that i have no knowledge about any religion at all. Based on your explanation, they just talk like that only...but i am confused...why Jesus has to say "Take this all of you and eat it, this is my body which will be given up for you." and "This is the cup of my blood, the blood of the new and everlasting covenant, it will be shed for you and for all men so that sins may be forgiven." I mean he uses "his body" and "his blood", in fact he could say it is something else..

In this problem, i still agree with Lauraleigh. I don't agree with you, ForSouls. You said the ones that do they are usually remote uneducated parts from what I read on Wikipedia. You know what is Wikipedia? people write it and they can change it whenever they want. Then who is these people in here? By the way, it is your opinion then i respect your opinion but i never agree with your thinking of people who could eat cat meat. They are not remote uneducated parts as you think.

I would call indigenous people of Australia remote. And no my dear. Who are the people in here? Well I certainly doubt they are from anywhere not on that list. I doubt you are going to find someone saying that in here from America, England, Canada, Denmark,New Zealand, Europe, Italy, France, and France does some gross things to animals... and ate it last night for dinner unless they felt like screwing with people. Wikipedia did not SAY they were remote and uneducated, that is my deduction looking at the separate pages of dog and cat meat eaters. I would call the indigenous people of Australia remote like I said. And if anyone can pick up a beautiful cat, look into it's innocent eyes then cut off it's head, boil it to loosen the skin, then skin it is, in my opinion worse than UNEDUCATED. I am not even sure what I would call them but it wouldn't be a compliment I can assure you. Even the people of China, opposition towards traditional dishes of it are growing. Good for China. I have heard all my life and many other places on the internet that Vietnam and Korea are some of the biggest offenders. And lo and behold I come on here at 42 years of age and find cat eaters from those places. So I guess all the people and articles I heard this from were not wrong, because here they are, from those countries and talking about it on here, people here just prove the articles and Wikipedia right.

Very few cultures do it actually, and the ones that do they are usually remote uneducated parts from what I read on Wikipedia. I neither agree nor do I respect it. I am really tired that in this day of "technology" and "advancement" we still have this going on.

ya, in here, they think eating dog and cat meat is normal. They think i am mad when i don't eat it. Thank you for your caring. My kitty is ok today. He starts to play happily today...i am very happy to see him got out of sickness

Many people in here told me that cat meat is so delicious...i really don't know how its taste also because i don't eat cat and dog meat.

If you eat cat or dog meat in the Philippines you'll be sued in the court by animal lovers. There is a law here protecting them. They are friends, not food.

Ya, i know. There are many people in here love to eat cat and dog meat also...and they said it is full of vitamins and very good for health.. i don't eat cat and dog meat...and for sure i will bury my pet if they die.
