I have a house with an area of ??60 meters. I built it with my own money. I built my house with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 living room and small garden in front of the house. I enjoy it. I am grateful to have a house with such size. Do you give thanks to God and enjoy a home that you have?

I also think the size of the house does not matter and there are lots of people who does not have house of their own and I think we need to just modify house when we have enough money. I think it can be done after many years by saving money.

The lesson is not in the small house or Large house, the lesson is with whom you live in that house. They are a relative from one person to another. In my opinion, if we live with those who love us and we love, the House be welcomed and comfortable, and vice versa. Love makes everything beautiful in our lives.

I have a house that is 3 bedrooms, a converted one car garage and a living room and kitchen. When I moved in it only had one bathroom, but it got to the point where a former roommate would camp in it and I got enough money to remodel and add a second bathroom, so that if she had taken up residency there was still some place to go. When I had that done, I made the kitchen bigger and added on a small room. Well, now that small room is my bedroom - it is only big enough for a twin bed and a tall, narrow chest of drawers - and a lamp. But that is all I need since I have the front room (living room) for my computer and stuff. The converted garage was poorly done the first time, and I had that remodeled later, correctly. Now that is the space where my longest term roomie works from home. I have 2 other roommates, one works outside the home and the other is disabled (blind) and doesn't work (she's the youngest too). So, if I lived alone, a tiny home would be great - less to clean, but I don't and this house is barely big enough! Oh, and we share it with a BUNCH of cats, that why we have the front room, the blind roommate's room and the converted garage as "cat-free zones."

All blessings come from God and He deserved to be thanked. Your 60 square meter house is modest enough. It has all a house should have and the kind of heart you have made your house not just a house but a home. It is not in the size of the house but it is how you enjoy and appreciate this blessing. There are those who live in a mansion but don't even enjoy its grandeur. So you are far more blessed than them.Congrats and keep enjoying the blessings of God.

That is great that you are able to build your own home. I am hoping that randy and I can find a place to rent soon so we can move out of my parents house. Things are getting worse here. My mother tells us how to spend our money and now expects Randy and I to give her more money because she cannot pay her bills on time. We are hoping to find something soon because Randy and I are tired of having to give her money all the time. We barely have enough money for our needs and now she expects more.

You are very lucky to be built, and having your own home. You must feel comfortable living your own home. Though small, I really want to own my own home. But it seems that my wish could not be realized.

It's not the size that matters but who lives in there. I don't have a big house as well- just enough for me and my kids. I am lucky to have our own and no matter how small it is- I am contented with what we have. The luxury on this life are all temporal and nothing once we die. We cannot bring any material things that we invested in our grave anyway.

I actually dream of having a small family, a small house minimalist and modest. I want also that I can clean it so fast and yet I can make meals for my son and hubby. I am so happy and inspired by you, how I wish that's only my house but the one that my hubby and I have built are 2 storey we predict that there will come a time that things and other material will accumulated and will only ends up in re-modelling. But still yours are good also which is my dream to have.

Wow, based on your description of your house its look like beautiful and cute. I always wanted to have a small garden infront of the house but since my place was small too it impossible to have a garden instead I just put small pots in the corner for my flowers and vegetables plant. Every home was gift from God through our hardwork and patient, so we have all the right to enjoy our home because it is only build from our money but also it made with full of love and joy that came from our heart.

It is not huge size and enormous space which homes beautiful and elegant. It is in the conveniences which are offered wherein lies the true beauty of any household. People make palatial mansions without paying much attention to usefulness. A house in fact is the abode where peace and tranquility should reign supreme.

Nice things sometime come in small packages. - Small is nice.
Ya,having own house and further made by self is indeed special.I used to stay in room which are very small , just enought to fit a length of a single bed and width of a bed plus a folding table and that it .It was comfy and easy to maintain clean. With the ceiling fan switch ON , it just like having a windwhirl inside the room which is nice.THe window cover the whole wall facing the alley. It nice.

I enjoy living in our house even though it is not a mansion as long as we are together and happy. It is not how big or small it is as long as you are happy and content of what we have, it is really okay.

I live in an even smaller condominium unit, but since I got to pay for it from my own hard-earned money, there's a certain pride owning the little dwelling place that I can call my own, no matter how little it is. All furniture pieces are small to fit in. Yes, I thank God for such blessings. Anyone else here who has a small dwelling place he or she can proudly call his/her own?
