I gotta go with Spiderman here. Superman is stronger, faster, has more super powers, and is well nigh indestructible. For that very reason Spiderman is without doubt the greater hero.
Superman does not risk anything when he fights crime, and only close proximity to the ultra rare "Kryptonite" can bring him low.
Spiderman, on the other hand, can be killed by just about anything that can kill a normal man. Thus, his commitment, his courage, and his self-scrificing love for humanity must be magnitudes greater than that of superman.

Spider- Man 3 is a 2007 superhero film that is the third film in the Spider-Man film franchise based on the fictional Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. Sam Raimi, who directed the previous two Spider-Man films, takes up the helm again with a returning cast that includes Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, and J. K. Simmons. The film also stars franchise newcomers Topher Grace, Bryce Dallas Howard and Thomas Haden Church.
Spider-Man 3 is scheduled to be released in both conventional and IMAX theaters on May 4, 2007.

Well, never had any brothers so didnt watch or read the comics of superman or spiderman, but would have to say superman for I hate spiders. LOL
