Does India lag behind in terms of gaming??

Today I went to a gaming store near my place. When I asked about a game which launched around a month worldwide was not available. The storekeeper said it didn't launch in India. My point is India maybe improving technology-wise, but it is far behind in case of pc gaming.

Ya its down in India. Gamer are very few in India. Everyone like only free games like allrounderz - online cricket game.
