NBC cancelled Awake!

Awake was a great show with a great premise. Sadly, NBC had no vision and they cancelled. The ending of the show wasn0t a cliffhanger ending but it left a lot of questions unanswered. Also, due to the nature of the ending, I doubt some other network will pick the show up. Too bad!

I watched the pilot of Awake but didn't stick with the show after that. I was drawn by its exceptionally intriguing premise, but quit because it was still partially a crime investigation show and those are a dime a dozen and I don't like them anyway. High-premise tv shows just tend not to last. I'd love for them to, I'd probably watch a whole lot more TV if they did! But I think the majority of people who turn on the TV don't really want to think. Not surprising, TV does rot your brain you know.
