Portugal kept themselves alive in the Euros but had to survive a major scare to beat the fighting Danes 3-2 to earn their first three points of the tournament. Portuguese started on fire scoring two goals within the first 40 minutes and it looked like they will run away with the game. But then the Danes fought back. Bendtner playing his 50th match scored a brace of headers to level the game for the Danes. But just when it looked that the Portuguese will have to pay for the missed chances of Ronaldo, super sub Varela scored with almost his first touch of the game to seal the game for the Portuguese.
Christiano Ronaldo had a real poor game both as a player and captain, but Portugal squeezed through.
Cheers!

Great game... Looks like both the CF that I stated in a previous post as not good enough (Varela, Postiga [plus Almeida but he didn't score :P]) managed to score while on the other had C.Ronaldo had a really poor night. Even after the 2nd game the Group remains a mystery, maybe Germany has the upper hand but all the other 3 teams are really close.

Portugal plays bad at first match with Germany, but yesterday against Denmark they play much better. Ronaldo plays both matches very bad, I think he will play much better. Lucky for Portugal is that they has also other player, who are not so famous as Ronaldo, but they can score too. I wich that Portugal will play in quaterfinal, on other hand I will like to see Denmark there too.

It was a just a rocking performance from the Portugal team. Now they are into the finals, let us hope that the team would make some difference there. All the very best for the Portuguese team .

I think Cristiano Ronaldo will make a superb game against the Netherlands! He always plays better when he get the maximum pressure and when a statewide call for Messi when he has the ball at his feet he becomes a furious player and breaks with everything that passes his way. Do not forget: The best players also!

It was an excellent game which had drama and some excellent goals. I disagree that Ronaldo had a very poor game, yes you should have scored at least one but his performance was pretty good all round.

Then my friend we were watching two different matches :). Ronaldo had two one on one chances with the goalkeeper and missed both. In fact, he was not on target for either chance. For a man who has buried 25 goals for club this year, that was poor!!
Cheers!

After being grouped with Germany, Netherlands and Portugal, no one give them any chance. With no big name superstars, except maybe Eriksen, in the squad, they were regarded as the whipping boys in the group. But in the last two games, they have prove otherwise. As for Ronaldo, he had done his reputation power of good. Not that world best player tag, but the one that says, "the player who fail to turn out in big matches".

That was such a great game, felt sorry for ronaldo (not really) for missing his opportunities in the 2nd half, luckily Varela scored just to save the team. Well done on his part.
Now for Netherlands vs Germany. Personally I think Germany may take this one, as Germany of course is one of the powerhouse teams of this tournament. Should be a great game also.
