Well i read an article about the influence of id when finding lost money on road ,it talks of that majority of the people will pick up the money if they find it anywhere and people have various reasons to support their act.Imagine you walking and instantly discover a $100 note on the road what are you gonna do and what can you say to support your answer?

dear
I would take it the police station.people might say to keep it and spent it on myself but thats not the kind of person i am.Imagine losing $100? you would go the police station and see if anyone nice enough would take it there.I would take it there because it is really awful when you lose money , and really with a amount like that.Imagine it was someone very poor then that would be heartbreaking! If it was $5 or less i would consider keeping it because that is a very small amount but of course i would still feel guilty.

If I were to find $100 paper money or more, I would call police or lost and found department to inform them that I've found such amount of money, with the info that rightful owner may call me first for questioning before coming over to claim the money.

good day swapmind,
with reference to your query, well, it depends on the situation as to where and how i found the money. though i found it on the road and there is an identification where can i return it, then, i shall return it to the owner. however, if there is no proper way to identify who is the owner, then, i will think of a way as to how can i use that for a good deed. honestly, i do always found money on the road. whenever i walked towards my way, it is a combination of a coin and sometimes a bill that usually i found. that i do always return them whenever i have the means to give it back but when there is none, i am always thinking some ways on how to use that for a good deeds.

Finder's keeper! It's money. Doesn't have a name on it. Doesn't say to whom it belongs to and it's just $100. I'm gonna keep it of course and that's after looking around if anybody is present and to make sure that the person who owns it is not around. Because if he or she is still there i would gladly return the money. I'm ashamed to be caught getting someone else's money.
But if nobody's around then i'll keep it in my pocket.
Now a wallet is a different story.

If I found $100 out on the street and didn't know who dropped it I would definitely keep it. If I saw $100 fall out of a persons pocket or bag I would give it back. If I found money in a wallet with ID I'd hand it back as well. I only pick up and keep money that I find when I don't know who has dropped it. There are too many dishonest people out there these days I wouldn't even trust the police not to take the money if it was handed in.

I would keep the money. If I find a wallet, I would take it to the police station but with just a bank note, it would be difficult for people to identify who it belong to. What if someone claims it and it doesn't belong to them? I will, however, donate the money, get some good karma for the person who lost it so they can have health and luck.

Hello swapmind
I have found money many times.
If I saw the $100 note on the road I would definately pick it up because I do not like the litter on the road or on the roadside. I think it important to pick up the litter, even if it is the money.
