how long is the road to success?

i am in the middle of the studying road. i remember a numble of words and read some articles day after day. i am looking forward to make a big progress every day,but the studying effiency is a little lower than i expect.almost half of all that i have remembered is frogot.it means that i spend a lot much time on it ,but i just get a little harvest. it's really terrible, that's a ordeal to my confidence. there are a long road to success, when is the end of studying?

People tend to remember things through emotion, that is why we remember a lot of pain or happy memories from our past. So I've heard that if you want to learn something, you should really be curious about the thing instead of trying to remember it without any emotions. And everyone has their own way of progressing.. and if you overload yourself, you may forget everything! Don't pressure yourself and embrace your learning at your own pace. Good luck!
