Where should I shop? Favorite brand?

I have beem playing the sax for six years and I have recently been thinking of purchasing a new saxophone. I play alto and soprano and I would like a new one/ Does anyone have a favorite brand or company? I'm also interested in a new soprano mouthpiece. Any suggestions?

It's been a long time since I played the sax (about 20 years), and I could never afford my own -- I simply used the loaner from the school but I did really enjoy the one I used. It was a Signet Alto Sax by Selmer, I believe. I remember one of the more experienced sax players who owned his own sax, was actually envious. It did have really great tone and a really nice feel to it. I swapped saxes with a few of the the other players just to get a feel for the different ones and to be honest I didn't like any of them as much. I always said if I ever bought one, that's what it would be.
