Why have they gotten so strict?

I used to be able to sell just about anything on ebay, and I would take pride in telling people that you can find anything on ebay. That is really not the case anymore. They have cracked down bigtime on what you can't sell. I have had several listings removed because they don't allow you to sell it. I would like to know why they do this now, If anyone knows tell me. Also, does anyone know any good alternative sites to ebay to sell things that ebay no longer allows?

I use to do really well on Ebay but like you said they are getting more strict and I can't sell items fast like I use to. I have been recently have more luck on Amazon and Craigslist. So those are the 2 sites that I use now. Amazon is way better than craigslist but I still do well on craigslist so I keep a few items on there also

those are some good tips. I don't really like craigslist very much. Do you only sell on their locally?

The opposite reaction:
I never liked ebay because there appeared to be too much junk on it. Many items were just ridiculously over priced. If it really has got stricter, perhaps I should take another look. I think ebay does need improvements to get back it's reputation.

I think it does need to improve. It was the place to go for junk as one man's junk is anothers treasure. Things are still overpriced often there. But you can find good prices there too. I think they should stay the way they use to be. Who cares if there is a bunch of junk. Just go look for what you want.

I do not really sell much on Ebay, as sometimes there are people that tend to mess you about, where as in the past when I have used Amazon I have never had that promise.I do buy a few things of both Ebay, as well as Amazon, but only if they work out cheaper than buying from the shop, as postage costs are to high sometimes.

I have thought about amazon. I had planned on looking into it.
