Rude and ignorent people!

I covered my moms job today. Now many may not know that packages can be stopped at the border and charged custom fees (I've seen some up to $200.00 and you don't get the package until you pay it). This guy got a package that had a $29.04 customs fee. I went to the door and he was rude and yelling at me. He expected me to phone him before delivering it (wedon't get paid for that period), he was trying to grab the parcel before signing It and paying. He was on the phone and I told him total 6 times. The entire time this guy carried on and I'm there by myself. He threw the money in my hand then grabbed the parcel went inside. He gave me $25 instead of $29. I didn't realize until I got back in the car. I went back he wouldn't answer the door so I called my Mom, who she called her boss. Now they are refusing to deliver this guys parcels now and he has to pick them up and deal with our boss. They have to now try and get the rest of the money.

That is just awful! I am the type of person, that at times, I may just yell right back and be an evil little thing. You don't yell at me, and you definitely don't jip me!

That is really rude and nonsense. You know people dont appreciate what other people do to them like they should be thankful that the company like youre mom delivered packages to them. Some people might not be as honest as your mom who delivers package without any damage. Even if that person pay for the package they should still be thankful that there are some people who are doing it for us.

I am sorry that you had to deal with a rude person. That is nice that your mom's boss allows you to work your mom's shifts because that gives you some extra money. You did the right thing by calling your mom to ask her what to do and also did right by having your mom call her boss. I hope they get the money from him.

It is sad to note that he is one of these uneducated guys (sorry for my words) and it is so sad to hear that you were in the situation. But I hope at the end of the day while he is on his bed, he would recall his bad personality and what he had done to you. I hope he would reconcile. But what could we do there are really people who are like these. We can do nothing but to understand them. Maybe, we don't know, he might have problems as well.

People can be so stupid sometimes. They just can't comprehend that if they are rude and abusive to the people in customer service then they are not going to get service or get what they want.
I think they should send the man a bill and if not paid by a certain date add an extra fee to it. That is if they are allowed to do that :D

Wow, that just doesn't make sense. He screwed himself in the future, and I wouldn't be surprised if they stopped making deliveries to him in the future altogether.
