Recently whenever i stay at home, i just jump on bed and may sleep later even though i do sleep 9-10 hours a night.
Saturday and Sunday are my days off but I decided to go to office and do work. It is so amazing!!! It is very quiet, only me in the forth floor of my company building, only me in my office. I love it...
I do many things: connect to mylot, do write my thesis, do my works...and sometime do chat with my friends...Wow..it is totally different with the feeling when i do work in normal day. My works run faster also.

Hi ryanong,I am back from the city I had been to.This discussion of yours is the first one I am responding to.
Like you I too can work more on Sundays and Saturdays provided internet is accessible.Often accessing internet becomes impossible in my area.I have complained to my ISP several times and they had assured me that they would soon solve the problem, but nothing has changed till now.I always try to work more and more here on Mylot, but accessing internet is doubtful. Now that the monsoon is knocking at the door,I fear it would become even more difficult.

Oh, nice to hear that you are back. How was your trip? I miss your discussions on mylot when you left your city for work.
Ya, working in days off is very nice, i just found it recently.
I am sorry to hear about your internet connection. I hope they should fix it soon and you can connect to mylot anytime you want. If not, i will miss your discussions.

I like working on Saturdays and Sundays too as no one is ever there. Well, no boss or coworkers anyway. Sometimes other people come by, but for the most part it's usually just me and the dogs! LOL
Happy mylotting!

I like to work at the weekend as well, as I get paid more, and it means that I have the chance to get a lot more work done than I would have been able to otherwise. One of the best things about it is that nobody else is in our office at the weekend, and that means that I can just let myself in and get things done that I wouldn't have got the chance to do during the week because of the fact that there were so many people there who could have distracted me from the things that I was trying to do. So the weekend work is an excellent thing that should be done.

I've experienced working on weekends when we are rushing for audit. It's cool and quiet working alone or with few people at the office. I like it cause the boss is out and I can do whatever I want and the most important is less stress and very quiet.

For me,i haven't try to work on weekends, and i think it would be a completely different feelling. For one thing is that you can get extra money from your work and also enjoy your personal time working. It's exciting maybe.lol, just have fun there and hope you have great time working.

Hi ryanong: It's nice that your company let you work on weekends and do the things you need to do like chatting and being here in Mylot while you work. Some other companies would consider that you are wasting your time doing unproductive things and they won't let you do this. I agree with what you are doing. I mean, if going to your office makes you feel less lazy, do it

ya, i can access my office anytime, so that it is ok for me whenever i want to get in my office.
You are right, some companies don't allow their staff get in the office except in working hour only. When i am stay at home, i become a lazy person, so that going to work in weekend is a good way to make me more active...

Hahahaha this is the first time I heard someone loves to work on day off. You sound like a hard working person, I hope you will get promotion to higher level and get more pay rise. I dont like to work on my day off, I consider it as my relaxing day and I dont want to be bothered with anything. I too loves to do something (doing my work or writing my assignment) when Im alone so i can focus more on what im doing, it is nice you can use the office for yourself plus you can connect to mylot. are you sure you were coming to your office on your day off not because you missed mylot?

Life is will be wonderful when here is no one to stop you. This is the one of the reason you feel good to do your job on Saturdays and Sundays. I don't have any restrictions in my office. I am very free to do anything after my works in my office. Even I can have fun with others workers in the office. So I feel a good time on every day in my office.

I also have access to my office basically anytime, but I try not to come in outside office hours if I can help it. There were times, usually toward the end of the month, when I have to do some extra work and I'd come in on weekends. But I just come in as early as possible, finish the work in a couple of hour at the most, then leave to enjoy the rest of my day off...

so from monday to sunday you just keep working?? Or you rest on some weekdays?
Do you go out and relax or you just go to work, come home sleep then go work again?

Sometime i like to go out with friends, sometime i prefer to sleep at home only.
Well, it is just i like to do, no one pushes me go to the office to work at all.
I can take a day off after that if i want...because in here we just care about the result of works only, don't care much about time being on the office.

I work Saturdays and Sundays, too, but in the comforts of home, using my laptop and the internet. I only limit work to writing, though. At times I do some reading, sometimes for the purpose of writing a book review as part of an online job. I've gotten so used to completing writing jobs on weekends that when a weekend goes by and I'm not rushing to meet a deadline, I feel like there's a gap, or something missing. Anyone out here who feels the same way?

I love to work during saturday and sunday too. Just like you've said, I enjoy the place when its quiet though I always have a quiet place to work. But the point is I treat my office as my home so I enjoy working and never get tired going to office even its non working days.
