I sing......whenever doing housework

Hello there. And thanks for starting this discussion. Ya..even I sing while doing household chores. I don't sing out loud but lightly hum any song that comes to my mind. It helps me complete the work faster but more than that it doesn't make the chore seem dull. The chore is easily done and seems interesting. I hate to do all the household chores and singing or humming a song while doing the work makes the trauma bearable for me.

I love singing even though I am not good at it. I do sing a lot, doing something or nothing. Once I've got addicted to a song I download the lyrics repeat the song and memorize the lyrics then sing it whenever I want to. Even it has high notes I don't care if I don't reach it and if I'm out of tune I still continue singing. Practice makes perfect, and if I continue singing and teaching myself the right way I will be a great singer someday I hope so.

Hi Ryan, when my aunt is still living with us before she married, we always hear her singing in the kitchen when she was busy cooking. Nowadays, no one singing in my home anymore. If i have the chance to visit you, i would really like to hear your singing as well. By the way, what song you like to sing? Care to share more in here...

I love hearing songs and it is the one which helps me to do my works easier and faster. I used to make use of them in most of the instance in my life. I don't used to sing song much during my works but I used to hear at them.

I sing and dance while cleaning the house with background music of Madonna. I feel that it very easy to clean the house when I am dancing and singing. Madonna's songs give me more energy and stamina to do more. Sometimes my husband laughed at me because I am more on dancing than cleaning.

Yes! It is relaxing when I sing a song while doing housework or any work. Especially, when I feel bored. I love to hear and sing my favorite songs. It is like I am having my own concert here in my house. I am also imagining that I am singing with my idols. Hahaha. :))

Hi, Even I keep doing that.. I like to sing while carrying out some household tasks. This not only relaxes me, but also makes me forget the burden of doing those works.

That's a good practice.Singing while performing household chores makes fun.It can ease boredom and tiredness. I just enjoy staying with people with that kind of attitude it brings joy to the whole house. Keep it up!

FOr me i sometime whistle and now so much of singing because , lot of dusts or grass flying around when sweeping or dusting or cutting grasses. I guess it relaxes the situation while doing work , prevent boredom to set in also. Sometime it like habit and exercise doing the routine chorus , hence the brain enter relax mood by singing or whistle.

me too! i always sing everytime i do chores. eventhough i don't know the lyrics well, i just sing na na na or la la la. LOL. i also sometimes like to mix several songs together cause the music sounds similar.

I also do sing everytime I do my homework and housework. It avoids the boredom because doing assignments can make you feel sleepy. Just like you, it can also make me relax and do my housework faster.

That is nice. I sing too when I do some house work and enjoy working and cleaning the house.. :D Sometimes I like to turn on some music when I am cleaning.

It is said that when we focusses our attention on certain job , we can accomplish the work with greater speed and perfection. Not only the housework but every type of work we know , no matter how melodious we are singing a song and how many lines of the song are in our memory. But when we sing the rhythm of our work and the song are getting matched and we work with joy . Our mind is fully concentrated on work and is in a state of great relish. We feel no mental stress and harassment inspite of continuous work for a long duration of time. Also music is the best medicine to keep our mental stress away . Therefore keep on drawling while you work. it will cost nothing from you and in free gives you the guarantee of perfection in your work.

ryan, singing while doing another thing is what I use to do, I enjoy singing while doing a chores, even in the bathroom I sing. Singing while showering is really nice, singing while doing the laundry makes you feel relax, as if you're not washing dirty clothes. Singing actually makes your work lighter and happier.

It's good and wonderful to sing when we can, and when we are in a place where we are free to sing. singing has been a part of us even during our creation. I might have heard my mother singing her lullaby while I'm in her womb. That has reverberated throughout my world which I was born to inherit. Doing housework and at the same time singing can bring some good cheer to those in the household watching us. It gives some feeling of comfort and joy to those who can appreciate. We may not memorize all the songs but I know we can sing. Keep on singing.
