I've only been here a few days but I know if they allowed such a thing Mylot would just turn into a spam site with people just spamming all their referal links. Also spam bots or people of those sites would sign up and it would give MyLot admin so much work to do in order to delete posts, ban accts etc. I like this site because it's just full or real and relevant and fun discussions. Don't want it ruined by spammers now :)

I don't think i want mylot to be full of spams. I like a site that is tidy and clean. Link here and there will be confusing.

The one thing i like about mylot is its spam free
you have been given your profile page where you can put all the links, banner you need why not use it.

i don't think anybody here will spend sometime to visit other's people profile unless they are told to.

ShiroiNooto, is correct. Users will want to know who is saying what, that's why people would eventually go to a user's profile page. And besides, users would want to befriend another user here. They have no choice but to go to a user's profile and add them as a friend or use the adding of friends feature in MyLot which is a bit difficult to use a bit, in my opinion.

It would be nice to have it in your profile but not in posts/discussions. That would get way too messy and I think that you would see discussion after discussion about referal links and it would get boring here! I like that they ban people from posting links in discussions

Yes, that would be great! But then again, MyLot will be full of junk discussions, right? Because MyLot's purpose is to discuss things not promote things, you know...

mylot is deleting post that contains refferal link I don't know why they do this. I don't think it will harm their website if they allow this to happen.

if mylot allow referral link then mylot will go to one of similar others website where member do not discuss but busy to promote their link and gain referral as many as they can

Imagine if everyone are being able to post their referral links. Then they must compete each other to post their own referral links. There would be huge numbers of links everywhere, and there would be less chance for our link to be seen - and even less who want to register.
And if myLot allows that, then it's a good reason for myLot to stop paying, due high numbers of spams..
So, overall, at the very end, it doesn't benefit us at all..

This will not be a good thing because if myLot allows so then the participants in the discussion will concentrate on the referral link and will search for a discussion where they can leave the referral link.This will decrease the quality of the forum and then people will not get standard discussion.But myLot is giving your the facility to put the referral banner on your website and you can also put your referral link in other website or in some other comments.
So,you can still get a lot of referral and do good!
I think the above points make sense!
